Dua Lipa Speaks After Fan Lights Firework At Concert, Injuring 3
People have been on high alert in recent years because of all the horrible catastrophes that have happened in public places. Shootings, assaults, and even killings have been reported at supermarkets, protests, subway stations, schools, nightclubs, and even concerts; hence, when something unusual occurs, it can cause havoc. According to reports, Dua Lipa arrived in Toronto a few days ago to begin her Future Nostalgia tour. Up until someone started setting off fireworks inside the Scotiabank Arena, everything appeared to be going according to plan.
At least three people were hurt, according to CityNews, when someone on the floor decided to light fireworks.
Despite the victims’ injuries being deemed minor, an investigation has been started. If authorities have focused on a suspect or suspects, it is unclear at this time.
Dua Lipa reportedly made a statement about the incident:
“Last night, unauthorized fireworks went off in the crowd during my set in Toronto. Creating a safe and inclusive space at my shows is always my first priority, and my team and I are just as shocked and confused by the events as you all are.”
“There is an ongoing investigation into the events being conducted, and everyone involved is working hard to find out how this incident occurred. Bringing this show to life for my fans has been such an amazing experience, and I’m so deeply sorry for anyone who was scared, felt unsafe, or whose enjoyment of the show was affected in any way.”
