Cordae’s Beard Stole The Show When He Performed At Lollapalooza
Cordae made his first appearance at the event since 2019 to perform some of his biggest singles from The Lost Boy and From A Birds Eye View, but the crowd and social media users were more interested in the bushy beard he was sporting.
According to HipHopDX, the 24-year-old began his performance sporting a big, bushy beard reminiscent of Hugh Jackman’s in Wolverine. However, as he kept on performing, parts of his facial hair started to fall out, making him eventually look like a person from another century.
One Twitter user questioned, along with a less-than-flattering image of the “Parables” artist, “Why does Cordae look like a Civil War general?”
On his Instagram feed, Cordae posted a photo dump from the festival along with the announcement that he will soon be releasing new music.
The Atlantic artist has previously spoken about his next releases, so this is nothing new. He questioned his A&R back in June about when he’d be able to provide something for his followers.
“I’m trying to drop this mixtape, man, so I had to butter up my A&R and get him on a jet in the air right now,” At the time, Cordae posted on his Instagram Story. “I’m trying to drop music, man. What we doing?” Success Davis responded, “We coming, we coming.”
