French Montana Says Max B Will be Out of Prison in 2023
According to French Montana, MMiley Cyrus and Maxx Morando were seen kissing in West Hollywood Amid Rumored Relationshipax B is finally scheduled to be released from federal jail this year.
The news was made by the Bronx native on Monday, January 9, in a tweet supporting French’s most recent mixtape, Coke Boys 6, which features the jailed rapper’s new music video for “Lemonade.” Max requested that the Coke Boys capo inform everyone that he will be released in April as he continued to explain.
Since 2009, the self-described Wave God has been confined after being given a 75-year jail term for conspiring to commit armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault, and criminal murder. Since then, his sentence has been significantly shortened.
His tweet was accompanied by Max B’s aforementioned “Lemonade” video, which opens with footage of him addressing French MFrench Montana Explains How He Helped Drake And Diddy Settle Their Disputeontana and the rest of his fans via a prison phone call.
“MY BROTHER WAS FACING 75 YEARS .. HE TOLD ME TO TELL YALL HE‘LL BE HOME IN APRIL!!” French wrote. “SILVER SURFER Live from the can [wave emoji] Free the Count [100 emoji] ‘LEMONADE’ VIDEO .. Coke Boys 6 OUT NOW ON ALL PLATFORMS.”
“It’s Max Biggavel. French, what’s good, my n-gga? I’m coming, baby. I’m on they ass,” he says. “Boy looking good, I’m working, got the weight off of me, the weight is up. It’s ‘Lemonade,’ baby, it’s the video. Get ready for it. French Monbega, owww! I love you, beloved. You killin’ them out here.”
He was found guilty on nine of the 11 counts against him, Max B (real name is Charley Wingate) he received his initial 75-year jail sentence in September 2009.
At a Holiday Inn in New Jersey in 2006, the rapper from Harlem allegedly planned to rob two guys alongside his stepbrother Kelvin Leerdam and ex-girlfriend Gina Conway. One of the men was killed by gunfire after the failed heist.
In September 2016, Max reached a plea agreement for aggravated manslaughter, and his sentence was lowered to 20 years. In 2019, his imprisonment was further reduced to 12 years for an unspecified cause.
During a June 2022 guest on Gillie Da Kid and Wallo’s Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, French Montana expressed optimism for Max B’s release. Max is in the camps now, so he’s one step closer to returning home, he said, without offering a specific release date.
