The host asked Rob49 how important is it no to stay in one’s city and the rapper said, “Like man it’s so important not to stay in your city because me I’m in the hood man. I’m still going to the hood every day like I, I know that ain’t good for me because I want better for myself.
“The thing that really made me stay out the hood, I met one of my dogs came he pulled me to the side like, man why you come out. If I were you and I can go to Miami. I’d be out there every day like stop coming back hood.
Don’t forget that the rapper stayed away from the public view after the French Montana shooting. During the interview, the rapper said “You never know man, you gotta go. You gotta go man. Life too short to be holding that shit.”
Rob49 added, “We were just chilling and we just wanted to perform the song and shit and celebrate because it was dropping that night. So we just went to turn up with him. I saw [reports] that it was a music video and I was like alright I’m not even about to clear that up.”
