Hip Hop Fans Angered by Tyler The Creator’s Omission of Frank Oceans name in his Credit’s after he Featured in LemonHead
Tyler the Creator has just released a new Album Titled, ‘Call Me If You Get Lost’ on Friday, June 25th. But while the fans were appreciating the good work, they were disappointed when Tyler failed to acknowledge Frank Ocean’s contribution in the Lemon Head Track which he featured briefly at the end of the track. The fans claimed that the Frank Oceans spoken word appearance towards the end of the track made a great difference to its quality and deserved appreciation. Frank Oceans lyrics at the end of the track are poking fans to Tyler while creating a reference to Chinese artist and activist Ai Wei Wei.
Frank Oceans lyrics in the Track give the Track a breathtaking ending by evoking a humor and a tease at the end, “My bro is runnin’ his finger around the Ai Weiwei, Ai Veivei bowl,” Frank says. “I got that shit sittin’ on my counter like a fruit bowl, that’s like a hundred racks. I like the color green, in every shade. I like life. Mine, like, my life. Don’t fucking bite, y’all n-ggas love to steal.”
Frank Ocean has been silent since the death of his brother in August 2020 and his appearance in the Lemon Head Track couldn’t go unnoticed. The fans claimed Frank Ocean deserved an appreciation like the other artists who featured in the Album.
Lemonhead Also featured DJ Drama and 42 Dugg as a guest appearance in the Track. Frank Ocean’s Spoken word took the fans by surprise as there was nothing like his name in the Album’s list.
One of the fans Tweeted, “FRANK OCEAN IS ON TYLERS ALBUM HOLY SHIT, He not singing but im still so ecstatic.”
