Isaiah Rashad Addresses Past Sexuality Controversy at Coachella
Isaiah Rashad Addresses Past Sexuality Controversy at Coachella.
The rapper addressed his past issue over his sexuality last night at the Coachella Music Festival.
Isaiah Rashad took the stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California on Saturday, April 16. He played a video montage featuring bloggers, podcasters, and YouTubers who reported on his purported sex tape that was leaked into social media earlier this year before beginning his act.
Voiceovers from The Game, Joe Budden, Akademiks, and others discussed the sex tape in the film. “The purpose of doing that was to embarrass him. However, it backfired,” said one voice in the clip. Another voice said, “When his video leaked, his streams and everything went up. He’s up on the charts now.”
Isaiah Rashad Thanked His Fans For Their Massive Support
Rashad began his concert after the video concluded with “RIP Young,” from his 2021 album, The House Is Burning, and then transitioned into “Wat’s Wrong,” from his 2016 album The Sun’s Tirade.
The 30-year-old rhymer then paused for a moment to look out at the audience, who erupted in cheers. Rashad, who appeared to be in tears, thanked his supporters for their support. “I’ve seen y’all messages and all that shit, all the positivity. Y’all niggas kept me alive these last couple months,” he stated.
