Kehlani Performs A Twerk During Her Tour

Blue Water Road, the seventh studio album by the Grammy-winning artist Kehlani, was released in April of this year. The album, which had 13 songs, also included work from Syd, Jessie Reyez, Justin Bieber, and other musicians. Kehlani said when she clarified the title, “I actually started the album down the street on Blue Water Road at this house… It was an Airbnb that we got for a recording trip.”

The singer made the announcement that she would be going on tour in support of the album almost a month after it was released. She announced the dates on Instagram and mentioned that she would be joined by musicians Rico Nasty and Destin Conrad. The single mother also gave some hints as to the songs she will be singing, including ones from her most recent album, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t, and other works.

In Raleigh, North Carolina, where her journey began yesterday (July 30), she delivered fans a performance they won’t soon forget. She sported a sports bra, a knit sweater with holes, and gray leggings for her outfit.

Video video shows the recording artist for Atlantic Records singing before turning around and revealing the audience her behind. The melodies disappeared as the “Distraction” hook began to play, leaving only the sound of the drumming. Kehlani held her microphone behind her and made her butt clap in time with the beat. The crowd erupted in ecstasy at her movements right away.
