KOTA THE FRIEND FROM COLORADO ACCUSED OF PREDATORY SEXUAL BEHAVIOUR

The Colorado Rapper is accused by a woman named @teyonie on social media to have preyed on her and sexually harassed her. This comes as the news about Bill Cosby’s looming freedom is trending on Social Media. According to the woman’s Tweets, Kota the Friend forced himself into her sexually, he even tried to strangle her after she resisted his advances and he threatened to harm her if she made any move to have him arrested. The rapper released a new track in march this year, titled Statik Selektah collab To Kill A Sunrise.

The Tweet goes “Can we discuss how abusive and manipulative Kota The Friend is?” she begins. “This dude literally strangled me, forced himself on me sexually, and put me through crazy mental abuse. He portrays himself to be this wholesome n-gga but in reality he’s a whole predator. I have physical screenshots, emails. I have an actual audio recording of him while he physically put his hands on me. A police report filed on March 17. I also have audio of him threatening to hire someone to hurt me if I were to retaliate.”

The woman claimed to have known the rapper for a long time even before his music begun to take off. She also confessed to have once had a consensual sexual encounter with him before. She said she tried to be silent on the matter but then felt that this wasn’t right and she had to stand out for the sake of other women hi might have preyed on. The incident put her in a long period of mental trauma before she decided to come out. However, it was surprising how considerate she appeared on one of her Twitter posts claiming she doesn’t want to paint him as a flat-out rapist and woman beater.
