Lil Baby Breaks 1965 Billboard Record
Lil Baby is breaking new grounds with his “My Turn” 2020’s album. There is much expectation for Lil Baby’s next album. The Atlanta rapper continues to make waves in the industry. Lil Baby debuted on Billboard for the first time in 2017 and has earned an historical milestone for himself.
Billboard revealed that the rapper’s “My Turn” has spent about 85 weeks in the top 10 of Top R&B/Hip-Hop album charts. Since the existence of the R&B Hip-Hop chart in 1965, “My Turn” has now become the first only album spending most weeks on the Top 10.
He has broken the record of Post Malone. Malone’s 2019 “Hollywood’s Bleeding” album spent 84 weeks on Billboard Top 10. Lil Baby’s album has spent a total of 106 weeks on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop album chart, which features six different tracks at the #1 spot.
“My Turn” was released on February 28, 2020, featuring other rappers such as Future, Yo, Moneybagg, Lil Wanye, Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert, Funna, and so on. The album is reinforced with five other singles: “Woah”, “Sum 2 Prove”, “Emotionally Scarred”, “All In”, and “The Bigger Picture”, which ranked number 1 on US Billboard 200. In February 2021, “My Turn” album received triple platinum certification from RIAA.
The rapper earlier said: “It’s Gone Be A Nastyyyyy Summer.” “My turn again. drop a video every few weeks until.”
