NBA YoungBoy Granted Bond To Be Released From Jail On House Arrest
Following a judge’s decision to grant him a “conditional bond,” NBA Youngboy is set to be released from jail.
According to DJ Akademiks, NBA YoungBoy will be placed on house arrest in Utah with military guards.
For months, NBA Youngboy has been incarcerated awaiting trial on gun charges.
The lawyer for the musician, according to Radar, proposed a plan earlier this week that would allow him to be released on bail so he could enjoy his new house in Utah.
NBA Youngboy’s lawyer claims that, despite his dangerousness, he has friends and family in the area who will keep him on track until his case goes to court. His childhood buddy Kyrie Oliver stated that she’d be keeping an eye on NBA Youngboy.
According to reports, the prosecutors handling NBA YoungBoy dismissed the prospect of releasing him, calling him a danger to society. They questioned the reason for YoungBoy’s buddy to come forward. In court, they revealed that YoungBoy had paid the woman $600,000 recently.
“It also demonstrates that every person Defendant called to testify has a financial stake in him being released. Bedrock Security stands to earn $21,0000/week; Atlantic Records has a more than $2 million investment and intends to build him a studio; and Oliver. Those substantial financial ties make it less likely that they would report Defendant’s violations or deter him from engaging in conduct,” the government argued.
The judge, who had previously denied YounBoy’s previous bail requests, was clearly influenced by the rapper’s most recent bond proposal. It’s uncertain how soon he’ll be released from jail.
