PJ Tucker Inks a Deal with Dolce $ Gabbana for new Sneakers ahead of the NBA Finals
PJ Tucker has confirmed that he has partnered with Dolce & Gabbana to roll out new low-top sneakers. The exclusive low-top sneakers will have Sicilian orange or beige colorways, a thick midsole, and a suede upper, which is expected to produce an athleisure aesthetic sneaker. In an interview with GQ, the athlete explained that the sneakers design will take a ‘Miami’ themed design because that is where life revolves around. His stylist Kesha McLeod told Complex news that Pj’s style is unique and not many have seen it before, the athlete has also been using the prototype of his Sneakers in his private training sessions.
PJ explained, “For me, it’s like my vibe of a shoe. The ‘Miami’ shoe. It’s in the name,” he explained. “I literally wore them in Miami. I told [Dolce], ‘I need them right now for this series,’ because we were playing Miami in the first round. That was the vibe I had when creating them. Thinking about summertime, how I dress, where I am right now, the shoe embodies all of that. All in one. I think people will get that same vibe when they see them.”
P.J has hinted that the first batch of the sneakers will be out before the start of this year’s NBA series finals which they are expecting to play with the Milwaukee Bucks. One 100 initial pairs of the sneakers are already on offer for sale on Dolce & Gabbana’s website. PJ’s lucrative deal with Dolce & Gabbana is expected to single-handedly increase the athlete’s income and net worth to surprising colossal amounts of money. Putting in mind the Sneakers Miami-themed design, the deal is aiming to capitalize on this year’s NBA series to gain popularity and achieve high sales volumes.
