If you aspire to maintain your wealth, Akon has some advice: stay stingy. Stay Stingy: Akon Shares Tips on Financial Success

Akon’s perspective on wealth management is refreshingly pragmatic. He experimented with jet ownership, but it didn’t take long for him to realize the pitfalls. He quickly sold the extravagant possession. According to him,

“If you want to stay rich, stay stingy. I’m the stingiest guy on the planet. I attempted to own a jet, that ish lasted 6 months, I sold that thing so fast. Buy some hours and use it only when necessary and most of the time use it as a way of negotiation, let that be a part of your strategy to the money but whatever you do, never own a jet.

Owning a jet is you spending two, three million dollars a year just for upkeep. You spend more on the maintenance than the actual jet cost. This is the advice I give everybody, the money you have now has to last you a lifetime, when you think about it like that, the way you manage everything will be different.”

He emphasizes that the money you possess should be viewed as a lifetime resource. This perspective transforms how you manage your finances. When you think of your wealth in terms of its longevity, your financial decisions become more prudent and forward-thinking.

Akon Admitted to Rocking Fake Dior for "Drink Champs" Interview image

Akon Admitted to Rocking Fake Dior for “Drink Champs” Interview

Akon, the master of capturing attention, isn’t one to shy away from using unconventional strategies to spark conversations. In a recent interview, he pulled off a calculated move that had the internet buzzing.

The renowned “Locked Up” singer made waves during his appearance on the Drink Champs show in July. However, the buzz wasn’t generated by shocking statements or vintage hip-hop anecdotes; instead, it was his deliberate choice of a fake Dior ensemble that stole the spotlight.

Akon made his entrance wearing a jacket adorned with a logo remarkably resembling that of the iconic French fashion brand. But on closer inspection, the letters spelled ‘Drio’ instead. Social media erupted with users quick to point out the discrepancy and hilariously roast Akon for his fashion choice.

Yet, the Senegalese artist revealed that this wasn’t another case of falling for imitation luxury. Unlike the time he unknowingly bought a fake Hublot watch from French Montana, this fake Dior jacket was a conscious move aimed at garnering attention. And true to his intent, it worked like magic.

When Akon caught up with French Montana, he was ready to address the jacket issue. “I knew it would spark engagement,” Akon admitted, confirming the jacket’s inauthentic origin.

Interestingly, he didn’t resort to New York’s infamous Canal Street knockoff market this time. Instead, he acquired the attention-grabbing piece from “one of my African connections.”

Akon understood that once the discerning viewers noticed, the internet would explode with reactions. He explained, “All it takes is one person to spot it, and then it goes viral. That’s exactly what we were aiming for.”

Sharing the moment on Instagram, he wrote: The African love is real. Me and my brother @frenchmontana really Enjoyed This moment.”

Akon, a well-known American singer and entrepreneur, has asserted that there is a divine purpose behind why there are 15 times as many women as men in the world.

He said this while discussing African culture and the interaction between men’s and women’s spirituality.

Men are treated like kings in Africa, according to Akon, who made an appearance as a guest on The Morning Hustle show. This practice has been maintained for many years.

The creator of Konvict Music said that a man and woman’s union is more commonly viewed in America as a financial partnership rather than as having a spiritual component.

Although polygamy is decried because a man marries multiple women, the speaker argued that if every man chose to wed just one woman, the majority of women on earth would statistically suffer since they would live single lives.

The business entrepreneur, meantime, previously stated that wealth causes a rich person more issues than the ease that is anticipated.

This was said by the music boss in a radio interview as he bemoaned the difficulties brought on by wealth.

Money doesn’t necessarily buy happiness, the “Lonely” singer asserts, as it primarily relies on what makes a person happy.

Akon added that those with money don’t have time, since it makes you lose yourself and separates you from your loved ones.

He continued by saying that when money prevents people from finding time for their families, this is hardly comforting.

Akon Claims Canadian Artists Are “Dominating” Hip-Hop

Akon offers his opinions on contemporary hip-hop power players.

In a recent interview with the “Big Homies House” podcast, Akon discussed the condition of hip-hop today and who is currently in charge of the industry.

“Atlanta’s been a driving force to hip hop for sure, but the dominator in hip hop is Canada,” he said on the podcast. “They dominate the music business. Okay, they got Drake, Tory Lanez, you got The Weeknd, you got Justin Bieber.”

Akon claims, however, that he is only discussing the commercial perspective and excluding the influence.. “Now mind you, I’m thinking from a business standpoint. I’m not talking about influence,” he added. “Influence, Atlanta hands down ‘cause everything that those guys in Canada is was birthed from here in Atlanta. Don’t get it twisted. Atlanta changed the game when it comes to urban music.”

Akon continued by praising the influence of Outkast, Goodie Mob, Lil Jon, Jermaine Dupri, and L.A. Reid as well as Babyface’s LaFace Records, but he asserted that Canada’s current generation of megastars is in charge of the industry at the moment.

In a recent interview with the Big Homies House podcast, the “Locked Up” rapper made the assertion and cited Canadian music icons Drake and Tory Lanez as evidence.
