Britney Spears (39) has again caused unrest among her fans, after she reported on Instagram that she had locked herself in her bathroom. And while she didn’t do so for worrisome reasons, the singer’s description of the incident has raised eyebrows with her fans.

‘At 2 am I decided to take a bath. I had new Victoria’s Secret fragrance lotion, which makes me sleep better. As I walked into the bathroom, I saw some leftover coffee from the morning, but as dirty as it looked, I didn’t throw it away. Then I looked for my face wash, which was nowhere to be found. After 15 minutes of searching I realized that the face wash was probably in the other bathroom, but when I wanted to go there I found out that I was ‘trapped’ because the door wouldn’t open anymore,’ says Britney.

The singer tried to open the door with all her might and called her friend Sam Asghari, but he had been asleep for a while. “So I was locked in that fucking bathroom and my boyfriend didn’t wake up, he still sleeps through an earthquake. I kept yelling for him to open the door and finally he came. He couldn’t get the lock off either, so we had to alert security.’

It took 15 minutes for Britney to get on the phone with a security guard, who told her it would take a little longer. “In the meantime, I went to clean the bathroom and just as I was wondering if I should take a shower, I looked at the door and it looked like it was opening. It was like something happened to that door, I could see it very clearly. And suddenly the auxiliaries were there, yay! To stay awake a bit, I drank the old leftover coffee, after which I felt the energy come back. The security guards managed to open the door and eventually free me.’

Fans are divided on Britney’s post. Some of them think that this is a disguised message to her so much desired freedom and that the bathroom serves as a metaphor. Others think she’s pretty lost. ‘Who takes a bath at 2 a.m., especially if your friend is already asleep? And that he sleeps at that time is quite normal. What kind of weird behavior is this and why do you want to share it with us? Maybe you still can’t access your social media accounts and your dad’s team is trying to brand you as ‘crazy’ again.”

The American festival Lollapalooza has removed DaBaby (29) from its line-up because of the homophobic statements the rapper made during a show in Miami last week. The organization disapproves of his words and considers it no longer appropriate to give him a stage.

Now that he is finally satisfied with his new album ‘Donda’, Kanye West (44) is throwing another release party for the record. That will take place on August 5, again in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, the rapper announced via social media.

‘Donda’, named after the rapper’s mother, was supposed to be released on July 23. The night before, the musician held a big ‘listening event’ to share his new music with his fans. The next day, however, he entered a makeshift studio in the stadium because he still wanted to tinker with the album.

Earlier this week, TMZ reported that there were rumors that a second release party would be coming. Reportedly, concert organizer Live Nation was less enthusiastic about the idea. The company would fear that the rapper will sell few tickets because he repeats himself.

It’s not clear what Kanye is up to at the second edition of his album celebration. Last time, the rapper stood in the middle of the stadium in Atlanta, quietly moving along, occasionally saying something through a microphone while the album was playing.

‘Donda’ was supposed to be released last year, but even then the rapper was not happy with the music. For Kanye, delay is not an unusual move, because he often decided to dive into the studio at the very last minute. Similarly, the release of his previous album ‘Jesus Is King’ (2019) was also postponed a few times.

It turns out that in an interview in 2016 Jennifer Lopez gave a lot of credit to the tattoo Ben Affleck took on his back of a phoenix that rose from the flames. “It’s horrible,” Lopez said. “And I’d tell him that too. I’d ask him what the hell he’s up to. The tattoo has way too many colors.”

That’s what she thinks of all his tattoos. “They shouldn’t be so colorful, you know what I mean. They need to be a little cooler.” Affleck stated in a Show in 2019 that the tattoo had a lot of meaning for him. “It represents something very important to me. I’ll keep that private, but I love my tattoo. I am very happy with it.”

Kanye West (44) has retired to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta to continue working on his latest album ‘Donda’. On Instagram, the rapper shares a photo of his camping spot in the event location where he threw a launch party for the record last Thursday.

Kanye doesn’t need much, as can be seen in the photo. There is a cupboard where he can hang his clothes and against it lies his suitcase with clothes open. Diagonally opposite is a bed with next to it a briefcase that functions as a bedside table. A TV screen hangs on the wall and the rapper has put some sports equipment in the corner to stay fit in between finishing his record.

Kanye’s album Donde was supposed to be released last Friday, but the artist isn’t completely satisfied with the outcome yet. That is why he continues to work on the plate in the stadium. The release is now scheduled for August 6.

Meanwhile, concerns about his psychological condition are growing.

DaBaby (29) is under fire for statements about HIV and gays he made at a festival in Miami. During his performance, the American rapper asked everyone in attendance to turn on the light on their mobile phones except for gays “having sex in parking garages” or those who are HIV-positive. He also claimed that people with HIV ‘die within two or three weeks’.

On social media, the statements have gone down the wrong way with many people. Fragments are widely shared.

DaBaby says on Instagram that his words have been twisted on the internet and that he is loved by both straight and gay. According to the rapper, his gay fans do not have AIDS, but the disease is ‘dirty’ and for ‘junkies on the street’. “Even my gay fans have standards,” the artist said.

DaBaby, best known for his hit ‘Rockstar’ with Roddy Ricch and the remix of ‘Levitating’ with Dua Lipa, has also been criticized for choosing his guests at the festival. DaBaby thinks the reactions to statements he made during a performance on Sunday evening are greatly exaggerated. “I ask fans to turn on their phone lights and you immediately start a protest march,” he said on Twitter on Tuesday.

In a subsequent tweet, he partially apologized on Tuesday. “Anyone affected by HIV/AIDS, you have a right to be angry with me because what I said was insensitive even though I didn’t mean to offend anyone. So my apologies for that.’

However, he does not owe the LGBTQ community anything, DaBaby tweeted. ‘I’m not attacking you at all, do what you want. Your business is your business.’ The rapper also seems to lash out at Boohoo, a clothing company he works with that publicly distanced himself from his words. “To any brand, channel or artist that wants to take advantage of the influence black rappers have on culture, without wanting to understand it: save your money next time.”
