Lil Durk Calls Out Gunna for Snitching image

Lil Durk Calls Out Gunna for Snitching

Rapper Lil Durk doesn’t hold back as he airs out Gunna’s dirty laundry in a recent interview with DJ Akademiks. Gunna’s decision to accept a plea deal and leave jail, leaving Young Thug and other members of YSL behind, seems to have triggered Durk’s wrath.

In no uncertain terms, Durk calls out Gunna for snitching, emphasizing the importance of staying silent. “I don’t play games, man. That man told,” Durk asserts. He even looks straight into the camera, expressing his strong disdain for rats, making it clear that if you’re a snitch, he despises you. However, he makes an exception for his loyalty to Young Thug.

Durk’s disdain for snitches stems from personal experience and the impact it had on his life. “I really hate rats with a real passion. If you ever told, I hate you. That took away half of my life, motherf*cker telling on my pops,” Durk passionately explains to Akademiks.

With Lil Durk’s intense animosity toward Gunna on full display, should Gunna be concerned about the backlash from Smurk’s hatred? Only time will tell how this feud unfolds.

We have more of an assist, so that’s why I admire him, he added. “Since we have 50 Cent, I knew I was in good hands. I’m going to receive a portion of his fans because he sold 11 million records. I’m ok. He was better capable of handling it on his own. He had agreements with them and JAY-Z, but JAY-Z isn’t ever going to… I constantly remind them that JAY-Z won’t treat them like this ni**a

Young Thug Prosecutors Submit A Motion To Prohibit Video Cameras During The Rico Trial

The prosection has filed a motion to prohibit video cameras from being used during the proceedings of Young Thug’s ongoing RICO trial due to safety concerns. Young Thug is currently awaiting another pre-trial judgement.

According to Fresh Court records that AllHipHop has access to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis submitted the application November 30 and asked the Superior Court Judge Ural Glanville to take into consideration as an effort to safeguard the identities of potential witness.

“Several witnesses have expressed safety concerns to the State and they are concerned about the safety of themselves and their families who choose to testify,” the motion read. ” The State is concerned that video recordings witnesses’ and victims faces could endanger these individuals safety.”

Fani Willis added that she was also concerned about how the presence of video cameras at trial might impact the witnesses’ willingness to provide accurate and complete testimonies when called upon.

“The State is concerned about the Impact upon due process and the truth-finding function of the judicial proceedings,” she continued, “witnesses may be afraid to testify and provide full information if they are aware they are being video-recorded, and that is their personal safety could be jeopardized as a result of their testimony.”

Fulton County DA, however, conceded to having audio recording devices in the courtroom once the trial begins on 9th January.

“This court has the discretion to determine whether or not to allow electronic and photographic coverage of  the proceedings,” Willis added, the State simply asks this Court to prohibit video recordings of the trial, while permitting audio recordings so the process will remain open to public.”

The prosecution’s latest motion was filed against Young Thug’s legal team and they submitted a motion of their own, asking to exclude songs, lyrics, music videos and social posts from admitted evidences in the case.

“The admission against Young Thug and the use of lyrics, pottery, and artist against Young Thug in his upcoming trial would result to constitutional violation and an abuse of discretion, prejudicial and unconstitutional,” the motion read.

“Moreover using these lyrics, poetry, artistry and speech against Young Thug is racist and discriminatory because the Jury will be so poisoned and prejudiced by these lyrics, poetry artistry and speech.”

Once it begins next month, the trial against Thug, Gunna and multiple members of their YSL collective could last for more than half a year. Those named in the 56-count indictment have been behind bars since May, with both Thug and Gunna being denied their bonds requests multiple times.

Boosie Badazz Thinks The Industry Is Moving Away From Gangsta Rappers

Rappers are making sure their lawyers are prepared for action as news has emerged that Atlanta prosecutors are planning more RICO cases. We have followed the latest developments in the explosive case involving YSL, which led to the detention and prosecution of over two dozen individuals. However, the D.A.’s office has confirmed that additional indictments are imminent. These suspects have included Young Thug and Gunna, who are still detained and continue to vehemently deny all charges brought against them.

Boosie recently gave one of many interviews to VladTV, during which he discussed the changes taking place in hip-hop and how the genre seemed to be moving away from gangsta rap culture and toward a less contentious sound.

“They basically doing all this to separate gangbanging from Rap,” Boosie stated. “They gon’ basically tell you, you can’t be a gangbanger and Rap… I’m not a gang banger, but I think it’s a bad thing for them. Gangbangers. Because what they’re preaching about, they’re not gonna let happen. The power that bring it, they’re not gonna let it stay. The impact you’re having on people, they’re not gonna it stay. You’re gonna have to be a fake rapper.”

“If they see you goin’ that way, they’re gonna stop you,” he added. “That’s why [they said], ‘We’re gonna get YSL.’ Who everybody lookin’ up to. And that’s the way they can do it with the gangbanging thing. That’s a tool they got right now, and it’s become successful, but I want all them boys free. I want all them boys at home. I just tell ’em, get close with God, man. Get close with God in the motherf*cka. You never know.”

Gunna Talks To His Godson Via Video Call While In Prison

A video of Gunna and his little Godson during a video call appeared on social media earlier this weekend. The 29-year-old was beaming as he saw the young child seated with his parents. One of the women said, presumably referring to even the young child’s awareness of the ridiculousness of the scenario, “He’s like, ‘What’s going on?'”

Gunna replies, still smiling, “Sounds like a real playa doe,” to the baby’s babbles and chuckles.

Even though the video was brief, it gives supporters the reassurance that the DS4EVER artist is making an effort to be upbeat by demonstrating that everyone in the room was laughing together.

Gunna’s Second Bond Denial

Following his second denial of bond earlier this month, a new photo of the Atlanta rapper appeared online, prompting several viewers to express concern over his appearance.

Around the same time, rumors reportedly started to spread that a nurse had been discovered sneaking marijuana and other substances into the Fulton County Jail for Gunna, but those have been categorically denied by the man’s lawyer.

“None of the allegations made today, these so-called new allegations, are accurate,” Steve Sadow, who represented the parents of the imprisoned artist, clarified before making a statement.

“All they’re looking for is their son to get a fair shake, and they don’t think that’s happening so far.”
