Kim Kardashian Opens Up About Her Difficult Relationship With Kanye West

Kim Kardashian sat down with ABC News’ Robin Roberts to discuss her new Hulu program, “The Kardashians,” her children, and her rocky relationship with Kanye West, one of hip-hop most powerful and controversial characters.

“Was it challenging because of how Kanye got so public?” Roberts asked the millionaire. How did you manage to get through that?”

“You want to take the high road, and sometimes it’s hard,” the billionaire answered. “But I think that, at the end of the day, everyone has their own way of communicating.”

“I’ve always been, like, a champion of him speaking his truth, and I would always want that,” she added.

Kim Kardashian claims that she and her ex-husband are on good terms when it comes to their children.

“Kanye and I have had conversations,” Kardashian said to the journalist. “We have to talk daily for the kids. So, you know, I hate that it had to play out like that, but when it comes to family, I mean, Kanye and I will always be family.”

She continued, “At the end of the day, I just want my kids to be happy and healthy and think the world of their dad, and they do.”

North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2, are their four children.

Fivio Foreign’s long-awaited album B.I.B.L.E was released this past Friday (April 8). The album has received positive reviews  particularly from Nicki Minaj. Nicki posted a photo of herself giving Fivio flowers on her Instagram story, complimenting him on his debut album.

“This fivio foreign album rlly hittin the mthafkn spot. Sooooo SOLID. Sonically authentic & well thought out. Cohesive body of work with a signature sound that is very true to where he’s from,” Nicki added to her story. “Kayccy is on both of his osngs. chloe bodied her verse. Loved coi too @fivioforeign_8fs,” she stated. 

Fivio Foreign’s B.I.B.L.E

Fivio’s first full-length release since his blockbuster hit “Big Drip” two years ago is B.I.B.L.E. Quavo, A$AP Rocky, Lil Yachty, Polo G, Vory, KayCyy, Kanye West, Ne-Yo, and others make appearances on the 17-track album. The album also includes the single “City of Gods,” which features Alicia Keys and Ye and was previously released on Ye’s Donda 2.

Last week, the New York drill rapper stated that the lyrics to his song “What’s My Name” caused him problems in getting it cleared by Beyonce. The single, which features Queen Naija and Coi Leray, samples Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name” from 1999. Beyonce would only clear the song if Fivio cleaned up the lyrics, according to Fivio.

The Weeknd stepped up as a last-minute replacement for Kanye West to headline Coachella, but they had to match his price.

The Weeknd reportedly threatened to pull out of Coachella if organizers did not provide him with the same bag Kanye West was expected to receive for headlining.

After Ye pulled out earlier this week, The Weekend was supposed to fill in. According to a report from Page Six, he is demanding that he be paid the same as the rapper, or he will not perform.

The Weeknd Vs Kanye’s Coachella Price

Kanye West was reportedly expected to get $8 million for his performance at the festival, plus a $500,000 production fee. Coachella had less than two weeks to find a replacement after he withdrew. If the Weeknd is to attend, he wants the organizers to match Ye’s cost.

Coachella wanted to pay the “Blinding Lights” singer far less, according to Page Six. “Just a few million,” the source stated. “The festival would pocket the rest.”

They further claim that the new lineup was made public despite the fact that a contract had not been reached. If the Ye deal wasn’t matched, The Weekend “threatened to withdraw out at an hour’s notice.” On Wednesday, negotiations were eventually finalized, and they “decided to pay The Weeknd the same amount as Ye.”

On Wednesday, The Weeknd confirmed his attendance by posting a festival brochure on his social media accounts.

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have been dating for a few months. Now that Kim’s divorce from Kanye West has been finalized, it appears like things are growing more serious.

Pete will most likely not be involved in any on-screen drama. However, that hasn’t stopped other drama from happening. Kim has stated that she and Pete did not film together for the new Hulu series The Kardashians. So, Pete will most likely be absent from any on-screen drama.

Despite threats from Kanye and concerns that he would ruin her connection with Pete, sources say Kim just met Pete’s grandparents.

Kim Kardashian visited Pete Davidson’s grandparents in Staten Island

Kim recently traveled to New York City with Pete, according to TMZ. Pete is said to be working on a film in the city, while his grandparents reside in Staten Island.

According to a source, when Pete finished filming for the day, the two went to spend time with his family, where Kim met Pete’s grandparents.

Pete’s mother has previously commented about their friendship, and Pete has spent time with numerous members of the Kardashian family, including Kris Jenner.

Many of Kim’s friends have also stated that they think Pete is a wonderful person who has done a lot for her, despite the fact that her ex-husband disagrees. But that isn’t the only point of contention between Kanye and Kim.

Kanye West disagrees with Kim Kardashian, believes that parents should not choose a favorite child.

Kim claims that her son Saint is one of her favorite people in a resurfaced clip from Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but Kanye doesn’t think the statement is as harmless as Kim thinks.

Kanye interrupts and says it’s wrong for parents to pick favorites among their children, but Kim doesn’t see the issue because she’s clearly been Kris Jenner’s favorite for years, even if Kylie is now the new favorite.

Kim continued to defend herself. She claimed that the other kids would never know which of them was their favorite. Kanye replied,“Oh yeah, they would just watch this”.

Ye is constantly criticized for his outrageous acts and words. Yet, when it comes to children, many people agree that parents should not pick favorites.

Kanye West has a net worth of $2 billion dollars, according to Forbes. Ye is a self-made millionaire as a result of his Yeezy apparel company, but he appears to be dissatisfied with Forbes. Kanye West is a wealthy man, but he is enraged that Forbes is undervaluing his efforts and assets.

The magazine puts West’s current net worth as $2 billion on its star-studded list. However, insiders told The Blast that West is genuinely worth $7 billion.

West has a profitable connection with Adidas that accounts for a substantial portion of his net worth, as you may be aware. He also has a large deal with GAP, for which he manufactures and designs clothes. At the 2022 Grammy Awards, Kanye West and Jay-Z received the Grammy Award for Best Rap Song for “Jail.” DMX (“Bath Salts”), Saweetie (“Best Friend”), Baby Keem (“Family Ties”), and J. Cole (“My Life”) were all nominated, but it was the Donda song that took home the award. West won Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Hurricane,” which he co-wrote with the Weeknd and Lil Baby. Jay-Z and Kanye West have a combined total of 24 Grammy Awards.

It’s not the first time Kanye has expressed his displeasure with Forbes. West allegedly texted the publisher after the magazine called him a billionaire in 2020. He disputed their appraisal of his net worth. West was displeased with their findings, alleging that his net worth is closer to $3.3 billion than the $1.26 billion they estimated. “It’s not a billion,” West allegedly texted the outlet. “It’s  $3.3 billion because no one at Forbes can count”.

J Cole On 21 Savage

While Cole didn’t win any golden gramophones this year, he did make a splash in Raleigh, North Carolina at the Dreamville Festival. Cole performed 21 Savage’s Grammy-winning track “a lot” during his headlining set. Cole, sang on 21 Savage track, informed the audience that the United Kingdom native is responsible for his first (and only) Grammy Award.

“Y’all make some noise for 21 Savage,” he said. “He got a n-gga his first — the only Grammy I ever won was because of this n-gga 21 Savage”.

Kanye West was also nominated for many categories, but did not attend the Grammys. The Recording Academy eliminated Kanye’s performance after his engagement in “disturbing internet activity”. Instead, Ye spent the day with his “lover,” Chaney Jones, celebrating his cousin’s grandmother’s 85th birthday.

Kanye West Is Reportedly Pulling Out Of Coachella Just Days Before The Event

 

Kanye West was slated to headline Coachella alongside Harry Styles and Billie Eilish this year, but he pulled out at the last minute. Travis Scott was also slated to appear as a surprise guest during West’s set, marking his first public appearance since the Astroworld disaster.

 

The rapper The rapper had not practiced for his Coachella performance, according to an unnamed insider who told Variety.

 

If Billie Eilish Was Still Permitted To Perform At Coachella, The Rapper Vowed To Pull Out.

 

West did not give a reason for his decision not to perform at Coachella, but it comes just a month after he threatened to pull out if Eilish is going to perform at the event.

 

Eilish helped a fan who was having trouble breathing at one of her gigs. Billie ensured they got an inhaler and told the crowd, “We’re taking care of our people, hold on. I wait for people to be OK until I keep going”. That gesture of generosity had been interpreted by West as a dig at Travis Scott. Travis who had kept the Astroworld set continued despite numerous casualties in the crowd.

 

Kanye’s Instagram Post

 

West wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post. He said, “Come on Billie, we love you. Please apologize to Trav and to the families of the people who lost their lives. No one intended this to happen. Trav didn’t have any idea of what was happening when he was on stage and was very hurt by what happened and yes Trav will be with me at Coachella but now I need Billie to apologize before I perform”.

 

In a response to West’s Instagram post, Eilish wrote, “Literally never said a thing about Travis. Was just helping a fan”.

Kardashian pointed out that her new dude Pete Davidson has a tattoo on his body dedicated to her where he wrote: “My Girl Is a Lawyer.” The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star prides in Davidson’s ink on Instagram, Saturday.

During an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kardashian reveals that Pete drew the lawyer tattoo on his body. She also said that he has her name written on his chest.

“Yeah, he has a few tattoos, a few cute ones that he got,” she said at the time. “But the ‘Kim’ one isn’t a tattoo, it’s actually a branding because he wanted to do something that was really different. First tattoo he got, I was like, ‘Oh, so cute, thank you! Oh my god!’ Second, whatever, I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s so cute.’ But that’s what tattoo people do, right? They get tattoos of what’s going on in their life.”

For years, Kardashian has been studying hard for a law degree, on her fourth attempt, she passed the “baby bar”  in December.

Kanye West, Kardashian’s ex-husband, despise her law professor calling him an “idiot” during an interview with Drink Champs.

Eminem is not willing to have anything to do with the Grammy anymore. If you are a lover of hiphop, you’d have heard about Eminem and listened to his songs. Eminem has been nominated about 44 times and has won the Grammy 15 times. 

 

The rapper doesn’t want to have anything to do with the Recording Academy again. Having boycotted the awards, he expressed to not be part of it again. 

 

Eminem said “Every f**king year, I’m tired of seeing it. For whatever reason, they’re always pitching this hint that you might win album of the year, which used to be a big deal. I don’t think it’s a big deal now, I sat at home for the Grammys this year and watched Jay and Kendrick not get it, and I felt like one of them should have got it. I felt Joyner Lucas should have won a Grammy for “I’m Not Racist.” Every year we went, I was up for album of the year, and then ‘the winner is Norah Jones!’”

 

He said further, “Don’t f**king get us all here, to use as your selling point for your f**king show, and stiff everybody every single f**king time. After that point in time, I said don’t ever ask me to come here again. My answer is no for a hundred million years.”

 

Nicki Minaj has also expressed her displeasure towards the recording academy. Don’t forget, Kanye West is not on the list of artists to perform at this year’s Grammy Awards night.
