Kanye angry at record company: record released without permission

According to Kanye West (44) record label Universal released his album ‘Donda’ without his permission. Universal also allegedly kept the song ‘Jail pt 2’ with DaBaby off the record without his knowledge. The rapper announced this via Instagram a few hours after the release on Sunday.

Donda , named after West’s late mother, hit the streaming services on Sunday after multiple delays. The first hours were without the song ‘Jail pt 2’. West posted on Instagram that it was because DaBaby’s team had not yet agreed, but that post was later removed and the track reappeared.

During the third listening session for the album last Thursday, it turned out that it was no longer Jay-Z, but now DaBaby could be heard on the song Jail. That was a controversial choice, as DaBaby recently came under fire for expressing himself homophobic during a performance. On the album that came out on Sunday, the version with Jay-Z could be heard again, but later the version by Jail on which DaBaby collaborated was also released.
Donda is West’s tenth studio album and the follow-up to the 2019 gospel album Jesus Is King .

Long-awaited album Kanye West finally released

‘Donda’, the long-awaited new album by Kanye West (44), has been released after several delays. The album, named after the rapper’s late mother, was released on streaming services on Sunday afternoon.

Kanye’s tenth studio album contains a total of 27 songs. Rappers like Jay-Z, DaBaby and the late Pop Smoke collaborated on it. Marilyn Manson can also be heard on a song. Earlier this week, his cooperation already caused a stir because the American shock rocker is accused of sexual abuse by several women.

After three previous postponements, ‘Donda’ was supposed to be released last Friday, but that deadline was not met either. Kanye suggested earlier on Sunday that the delay was because DaBaby’s manager was not yet satisfied.

The rapper was supposed to release the album last year, but that was postponed. Kanye hosted a total of three listening sessions for his fans in major stadiums this month and last. The release of the album was always planned for the day after such an event.

‘Donda’ is the successor to the gospel album ‘Jesus Is King’ from 2019. That record was also released later than planned because the perfectionist rapper kept tinkering with it.

Will Kim Kardashian Give Kanye West Another Chance?

There seems to be a chance that Kim Kardashian (40) and Kanye West (44) will get back together after all. When the reality star appeared in a wedding dress at the listening session of the rapper’s new album last Thursday and the two reportedly left the stadium in Chicago hand in hand, the rumor mill started spinning.

Are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Getting Back Together?

There seems to be a chance that Kim Kardashian (40) and Kanye West (44) will get back together after all. When the reality star appeared in a wedding dress at the listening session of the rapper’s new album last Thursday and the two reportedly left the stadium in Chicago hand in hand, the rumor mill started spinning. Insiders now tell ‘TMZ’ that it is not impossible that the exes will try again.

Although Kim, according to the insiders, does not intend to put the divorce papers through the shredder for the time being, they are talking to each other. They would talk together about how to “rebuild the foundation of their relationship.”

The reality star and the rapper would mainly work on their band because of their four children. If it turns out that the two do not want to divorce, then that is only a bonus for the whole family, the couple thinks, according to insiders.

Kim filed for divorce in February after nearly seven years of marriage. Kanye would then have briefly dated model Irina Shayk.

Kanye already made 12.5 million by postponing album

The three listening parties that Kanye West (44) has organized for his new album ‘Donda’ have certainly not done him any harm. According to an estimate of ‘Vice’, the rapper has earned 7.5 million dollars (6.4 million euros) from the first two release parties in Atlanta. ‘Billboard’ even thinks that the third listening event in Chicago on Thursday will bring the total to more than 12.5 million dollars (10.6 million euros).

Kanye was set to release his tenth album, named after his mother, in late July. He booked a stadium in Atlanta for a release party, but afterwards he announced that he still wanted to tinker with the record. On August 5, he gave a second listening party in the stadium, which was also not followed by an album. Thursday there will be another release party for Donda , now in Chicago, after which the new music will really come out, according to the rapper’s manager.

Although the 80,000 visitors to the first two listening events all bought a ticket, the merchandise sold during those concerts is the gold mine, Vice states . After deducting production costs and the fifteen percent that his manager withholds from his income, the rapper would still have $3.3 million (2.8 million euros) left on the shirts, sweaters and other goods sold during the concerts.

Kanye West Cuts Ties With Controversial DaBaby

It seems very likely that Kanye West is trying to distance himself from the previously discredited rapper DaBaby. Kanye has a single with DaBaby removed from a number of streaming platforms.

Kanye has removed his remix of the song Nah Nah Nah, which features rappers DaBaby and 2 Chainz, from Spotify, Apple and Tidal Music, among others. The music video for the song is still available on YouTube. His action is not completely out of the blue. DaBaby was previously discredited by the homophobic statements he made during a concert. During a show at a festival in Miami, the rapper asked everyone in attendance to turn on their cell phones except gays “having sex in parking garages” or those who are HIV-positive. He also claimed that people with HIV ‘die within two or three weeks’.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, DaBaby apologized for the homophobic statements. DaBaby was removed from the line-up of the American festival Lollapalooza after his statements. Celebrities such as Elton John, Dua Lipa and Madonna also disapproved of his comments.

The Nah Nah Nah remix was Kanye’s most recent single, who is about to release his new album Donda. The release of his new record was delayed twice because Kanye missed the deadline. Fans can pre-order Donda through Apple Music. It now states that the album will be released on August 13. Whether that is correct is not clear. The rapper has not yet confirmed the new date.

Kanye West Misses Donda Deadline Again

Kanye West (44) has again failed to release his new album ‘Donda’ on the planned date. The record was supposed to appear on Friday, after having been postponed twice before, but is still not online on Saturday.

Fans can pre-order ‘Donda’ through Apple Music. It now states that the album will be released on August 13. Whether that is correct is not clear. The rapper has not yet responded to the news that he is late again.

‘Donda’, Kanye’s tenth studio album, was supposed to be released last year. The rapper postponed this and chose July 23 as the new date, but even then he was not satisfied enough with the songs. He decided to stay at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, where he threw a release party on July 21, to continue tinkering with his music. Last Thursday he organized another event in the stadium to celebrate the arrival of the album.

It is more common that the rapper decides at the last minute not to release an album on the planned date. For example, the release of his previous album ‘Jesus Is King’ (2019) was postponed several times and fans also had to wait longer for previous albums.

Meanwhile, the rapper would be busy with a new sweetheart in his life.

Kanye West Takes A Nap During New Album Release Party

Kanye West (44) has thrown another release party for his new album ‘Donda’. The launch party was even more exuberant than the first time, American media report. The rapper took a nap and a number of push-ups during the event, among other things.

The launch again took place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. There, the artist held a big listening event to share his new music with his fans. According to attendees, he regularly made use of a makeshift bed during the session and the rapper also occasionally used his phone to call someone.

One of the highlights of the event was when the rapper let himself hoist and hover above the stage. Images of a ‘flying’ Kanye were widely shared on social media.

Named after West’s mother, ‘Donda’ was actually supposed to come out on July 23. The night before, the musician also held a major listening event to share his new music with his fans. That event was simpler set up than the second party. The first time, the rapper stood alone in the middle of the stadium, moving along quietly, occasionally saying something through a microphone while the album was playing.

The day after the party, however, he went into a makeshift studio in the stadium because he still wanted to tinker with the album. To date, the real album has still not been presented. That is expected to happen on Friday. For Kanye, delay is not an unusual move, because he has often decided to go into the studio again at the very last minute. The release of his previous album ‘Jesus Is King’ (2019) was also postponed a few times.

Kanye West Gives Second Release Party For Album Donda

Now that he is finally satisfied with his new album ‘Donda’, Kanye West (44) is throwing another release party for the record. That will take place on August 5, again in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, the rapper announced via social media.

‘Donda’, named after the rapper’s mother, was supposed to be released on July 23. The night before, the musician held a big ‘listening event’ to share his new music with his fans. The next day, however, he entered a makeshift studio in the stadium because he still wanted to tinker with the album.

Earlier this week, TMZ reported that there were rumors that a second release party would be coming. Reportedly, concert organizer Live Nation was less enthusiastic about the idea. The company would fear that the rapper will sell few tickets because he repeats himself.

It’s not clear what Kanye is up to at the second edition of his album celebration. Last time, the rapper stood in the middle of the stadium in Atlanta, quietly moving along, occasionally saying something through a microphone while the album was playing.

‘Donda’ was supposed to be released last year, but even then the rapper was not happy with the music. For Kanye, delay is not an unusual move, because he often decided to dive into the studio at the very last minute. Similarly, the release of his previous album ‘Jesus Is King’ (2019) was also postponed a few times.

Kanye West Shares Photo Of His Special New Home

Kanye West (44) has retired to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta to continue working on his latest album ‘Donda’. On Instagram, the rapper shares a photo of his camping spot in the event location where he threw a launch party for the record last Thursday.

Kanye doesn’t need much, as can be seen in the photo. There is a cupboard where he can hang his clothes and against it lies his suitcase with clothes open. Diagonally opposite is a bed with next to it a briefcase that functions as a bedside table. A TV screen hangs on the wall and the rapper has put some sports equipment in the corner to stay fit in between finishing his record.

Kanye’s album Donde was supposed to be released last Friday, but the artist isn’t completely satisfied with the outcome yet. That is why he continues to work on the plate in the stadium. The release is now scheduled for August 6.

Meanwhile, concerns about his psychological condition are growing.
