Benzino Applauds Lil Baby in a Series Of Tweets, Calls Him Tupac Of This Generation

Benzino calls Lil Baby “Most influential & important, Tupac of this generation.”

Lil Baby is one of the best hip-hop artists working today, and according to Benzino, he’s comparable to the great 2Pac for this generation.

“I have been around Hip Hop since day one, out of this generations rappers @lilbaby4PF is the most influential & important this time,” he wrote. “He like PAC’s influence and can help turn around young black men to elevate their lives from the streets to a better life. He’s special trust me I know.”

“He’s with the sheet and talks street talk but also raps about positive elevation & change, (like Pac), he never beefs online, he helps his people and raps about it and you can see his maturing, not just on the mic but in real life, he’s generations Pac.”

This generation needs more Lil Baby’s.”

Comparing the ‘My Turn’ rapper to Shakur, the latter’s supremacy on the chart items in terms of commercial success is nothing to be overlooked. He has provided statistics to support his knowledge, such as No. 1 albums and Diamond singles. Consider how drastically different the music industry was from what it is now. It might not be to the same extent as Pac, but it is still noteworthy.

Lil Baby recently released “it’s only me,” his third solo studio album, which earned him another #1 debut on the Billboard 200 after moving 216,000 album-equivalent units in it’s first week.

Lil Baby Sacrifices Grit For Prestige Raps In "IT'S Only Me"

Lil Baby Sacrifices Grit For Prestige Raps In “IT’S Only Me”

Lil Baby Sacrifices Grit For Prestige Raps In “IT’S Only Me”

Lil Baby has probably carved out his own niche among all the musicians that have been regarded as Young Thug’s protégés. Although Baby’s flow has echoes of Thugger’s warbling drawl, Baby is far more grounded and straightforward than Thugger, who has spent years operating on his own wavelength as a rebellious experimenter. This has helped Baby become one of the best storytellers in the rap game.

Early skeptics labeled Lil Baby and his contemporaries as “mumble rap,” but Baby uses his voice as an expressive tool that begs for attentive attention: “You gotta really pay attention, I’m not mumbling,” as he says on “Heyy.” Baby expressed a heightened sense of perspective in songs like 2020’s “The Bigger Picture,” expressing his uneasy awareness of the precarity of his existence as a Black man in a racist police state and his awareness of the potential influence of his growing platform to bring about change.

Lil Baby continues to develop as a lyricist and a stylist with the release of his most recent solo album, It’s Only Me, a title that is appropriate for an artist whose music frequently feels so aching and lonely. Lil Baby has struggled to hold on to some of the authentic perspectives that made him so endearing; many of the issues Baby now discusses in songs like “From Now On” amount to the unrelatable struggles of a very rich man.

Baby may now create prestige rap albums, but his work is still superior to the majority of mainstream rap albums because he hasn’t fully lost his identity.

Lil Baby is going all out as he prepares for the release of his upcoming album, It’s Only Me. The Atlanta rapper released his single “Heyy.” It was produced by Harto, Hoops, and King LeeBoy, earlier this week in anticipation of his third studio album.

Baby is preparing visuals to go along with the 23-track album in addition to the new music. He was spotted on Tuesday in his former Atlanta neighborhood of Oakland City, where he was filming a music video. “Trust The Process!!” was written beneath a picture of the full circle moment that he posted.

There was no word on the song for which the Grammy-nominated  star was filming a video. The behind-the-scenes footage was released two days before Lil Baby is scheduled to release the eagerly anticipated follow-up to his sophomore album, My Turn, which went on to become one of the best-performing records of that year.

The 27-year-old rapper told fans, “I know it’s been a long time coming, but I’m coming harder and harder,” when he revealed the cover art and tracklist for his upcoming project. Baby didn’t seem to take any days off in 2022, instead pushing herself harder. In August, he finished his “One of Them Ones” tour with Chris Brown. He was also promoting his highly regarded Amazon documentary, Untrapped: The Story of Lil Baby. The platinum-selling musician continues to give fans new music despite his busy schedule.  A song called “Never Hating” features Young Thug, who has been detained since May on racketeering allegations related to a RICO indictment against his YSL collective.

Lil Baby and Young Thug have a close bond, and it was Thug that paid Baby to keep out of trouble so that Baby could begin his rap career.

I was in the neighborhood and he was like, ‘What are you doing in the neighborhood?’ I was like, ‘You already know what I’m doing,'” Lil Baby told The Breakfast Club in 2020.

“So he was like, ‘Okay, how much money are you going to make today?’ I was probably going to make something like $7,000 or maybe $10,000. He just went, “I’ll give you that—just go to the studio.” Shit went like that. “

Lil Baby will release It’s Only Me On Friday, October 14, his most recent album. The Quality Control recording artist collaborated with YouTube for #DoItLikeBaby as part of the album’s rollout.

A YouTube Short by Baby served as the catalyst for the #DoItLikeBaby social media campaign. The 27-year-old rapper invites his fans to display their individual sense of style in short videos that feature his brand-new song, “Heyy.”

Fans of Lil Baby can join the rapper, who was raised in Atlanta, on YouTube by uploading their own “before and after” videos. The “Heyy” single should be used in YouTube Shorts, and the hashtag “#DoItLikeBaby” should be used.

Heyy will appear on the studio album It’s Only Me. After 2020’s 4x-Platinum My Turn, the 23-track album will be released. Baby’s first Billboard 200 chart No. 1 came from that song. Five weeks in a row, My Turn was number one.

Lil Baby isn’t prepared to abdicate the throne, despite the fact that his enemies are eagerly awaiting the end of his reign. The Georgia hitmaker has been on a roll for a while, and as he gets ready to drop his new album, Baby is implying that he’s always been a GOAT regardless of his age.

Lil Baby started the week off right today (October 10) by sharing a new song, “Heyy,” along with a music video. He also disappeared from the tracklist for his upcoming album, It’s Only Me, shortly after its release.

GOAT discussions are common in hip hop. Mt. Rushmore is depicted in the picture, but Lil Baby is each of the faces at different points in his life. A new era for the Rap sensation is being planned now that the public has a fresh view on Baby’s ascent in Hip Hop as a result of his well-received documentary.

Young Thug, Nardo Wick, Rylo Rodriguez, Pooh Shiesty, and other artists, including newcomer Fridayy, have featured on this most recent 23-track CD. Fans of Baby already anticipate that this song will quickly reach the top of the charts.

Chris Brown Rips His Pants Off While Performing

Chris Brown Rips His Pants Off While Performing

We can all embarrass ourselves in front of large crowds by dropping groceries at the grocery store, farting out unintentionally, or by performing in front of a large audience while showing our underpants. Perhaps not that last bit, but Chris Brown, an R&B singer, experienced that yesterday in Columbus, Ohio, while performing with Lil Baby as part of their “One Of Them Ones” tour.

As you can hear screams and whoops from the crowd when Brown’s front jeans rip, the fans in the audience appeared to be having fun. He also appeared to handle it well, as evidenced by his laughter and cheeky hand cover. He deserves praise for performing throughout the song as well.

It was simple to see the excitement that was generated when he announced a tour with Lil Baby, one of Atlanta’s biggest rappers, given his status as one of R&B’s biggest artists for more than a decade. However, it appears like the trip has been working well for them thus far.

Chris Brown has also recently made headlines for events unrelated to pants. He most recently had an appearance on Joey Bada$$’s new album, 2000, which created controversy not because it was particularly good but because of his past of domestic abuse. Since then, Joey has defended the R&B artist by expressing his love and respect for him. The 33-year-old musician additionally refuted rumors that he skipped a benefit concert for Hurricanes Ida and Nicholas and pledged a gift to help those in need.

Drake’s Team Reacts To Rumors Of Rapper’s Arrest In Sweden

Nowadays, rumors may spread quickly, particularly if you’re the biggest musician in the world. Drake’s private jet was observed landing in Sweden earlier this week, but many fans were unsure of his purpose for visiting the Nordic nation. According to claims that circulated on social media last night, Drizzy and his group were detained in Sweden on marijuana-related charges. Thankfully, that isn’t the case.

The rapper was not detained by the authorities, according to journalist Philip Lewis. Drake’s representative released a formal denial when Lewis had confirmation from Swedish police that the rapper was not under their care. The team released a statement saying, “Drake is at his hotel and has not been arrested.”

Drizzy was the target of numerous Internet memes before his team responded to the allegations, sparking the brief #FreeDrake movement. Fans were really worried that, if the arrest allegations were accurate, Drake may wind up receiving an unfair punishment like A$AP Rocky was arrested in Sweden in 2019.

Fortunately, Drake has cleaned up so he can go about controlling the summer. The rapper, who recently released his new album Honestly, Nevermind, just revealed that OVO Fest, this year’s name for October World Weekend, will return. Drizzy is bringing back OVO Fest and hosting Chris Brown and Lil Baby’s tour stop in the 6ix in addition to a Young Money reunion with Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj.
