Meek Mill is Reproached For Recording a Music Video at the Ghanian Presidential Palace

The controversy surrounding Meek Mill’s next music video, which was shot at the presidential palace of Ghana, has forced him to perform some damage control.

The Dream Chasers leader revealed a teaser of the music video over the weekend, which was shot while he was on holiday in Accra, Ghana. MeMeek Mill Changes The Style Of Ice Spice’s “MUNCH”ek is seen in many scenes throughout the country, but some of the footage upset some Ghanaians.

The Jubilee House, which doubles as the presidential residence and Ghana’s highest security zone, was depicted in Meek’s teaser. In other scenes, the Philadelphia rapper can be seen standing at the same podium that President Nana Akufo-Addo used to address the nation.

The frustration of Ghanaians over what they perceived as a degradation of the presidency was quickly vented on social media. Many people wondered how Meek was given security clearance to record the video at such a famous spot while also claiming the video shoot was a security breach.

“Meek Mill really shot a music video at Jubilee House? This is the lowest point we can get as a country,” one person wrote on Twitter. “What happened to ‘Jubilee House as a security zone.’ Even American Embassy in Ghana, you can’t take pictures and Ghana allows Jubilee House to become studio. We are finish.”

Someone else tweeted: All those

responsible for this despicable desecration of the Jubilee House by Meek Mill must be fired immediately. How do those explicit lyrics from the president’s lectern project Ghana positively? Is Ghana’s seat of government no longer a high security installation?”

Another person asked if Meek can’t do the same in his own country, how is he allowed to do it in a foreign land tweeting: “Nah!! This is getting serious, why are we allowing this? Can Meek Mill shoot a music video in the white house? Eii Gh lol . What a country! We have given these guys too much liberty they don’t even have in their country.”

When MKanye West Makes Fun Of Meek Mill For Criticizing Himeek Mill learned of the uproar, he removed the teaser from his social media accounts. However, the harm had already been done by the post. On Monday, January 9, he did apologize and make a commitment to soon reveal the larger project he was working on while in Ghana.

“My apologies to the people if any disrespect! We still gonna push to make the connection between black people in America and Africa … what I’m trying to do is more than a video and it’s coming soon! My apologies to the the office also.”

Meek Mill encountered further issues while traveling in Ghana. He demanded the return of his phone, which he claimed had been stolen when he initially arrived. The Dream Chasers boss posted a number of videos on his Instagram Stories of him interacting with Ghanaians while traveling to the Afro Nation music event.

Ghana police recovered the phone and returned it to the Philadelphia rapper, hand-delivering it to him along with news that they had detained a suspect by the name ‘Nuhu Sule.’

“I wanna say thank you guys for getting my phone back to my life, man,” Meek can be heard saying in a video he posted to his Instagram Story showing his phone being returned. “Y’all ain’t let him hack me or nothing, did y’all, Commander?”

Meek later admitted that maybe his phone wasn’t stolen and instead could have fallen out of his pocket while he was out riding his dirt bike.

“I coulda dropped that phone on a dirt bike I don’t actually know for a fact somebody went in my pocket!” he tweeted. “I got it back that’s all I needed I don’t need anybody locked up for a phone. I don’t even know what happened to it.”

Gillie Da Kid Claims That Rick Ross Owes Meek Mill Money

Gillie Da Kid and Rick Ross have been having some trouble lately. Da Kid attacked Miami rapper Ross in an interview on Million Dollaz Worth of Game after Ross referred to him as a fraud, Gillie said “these old n***as, they don’t hear the roar of the crowd no more, and they still think the world gon’ come back so they be on Instagram and they be on social media doing dumb s**t. ‘I just bought a cow’ and all this dumb s**t.” Ross later reacted to defend his cows, claiming, “Let me give you the real game. When I spend more money on my cows’ huffs than you do on your wife and kids every month, you should be taking notes.”

Gillie has now raised the stakes once again in the feud. Da Kid said in a rage shared on Instagram that Ross owes Meek Mill money, and that he has the Philadelphia rapper trapped in a “1914 slave deal.”

Gillie accused Ross of several wrongdoings in the three-minute clip, including poking his nose in places it shouldn’t have been. “That’s ya problem, ya always minding n****s’ business. You was mindin’ Birdman’s business some years back when you was running around talking about, ‘Give Khaled the money you owe him!'” Gillie stated.

Gillie then talked about the Meek Mill incident. “You give Meek the money you owe him, n***a,” he stated. “You got him in a 1914 slave deal. A Harriet Tubman joint that he signed when he was 19 and now he’s 35. Why you ain’t renegotiate with a real n***a?” Gillie continued by praising Meek for being able to overcome the allegedly poor contract.. “Thank God he’s f**kin’ with them white boys. He’d f**k around, be broke, busted, and disgusted f**kin’ with you. But he’s a hell of a businessman, though,” he added. “Salute to you, Meek.”

The rapper spent a week in a detention institution before getting out on bond. ICE officials attempted to portray Savage as a criminal who was avoiding the proper chain of command in order to remain in the United States at the time. Meek Mill Let Go Most Of His Team Because They Wanted To Drive His Cars

Although Meek Mill can be considered a biker in a way, he also has some nice cars.

Don’t ask him to let you drive one of them. On the Million Dollar Worth Of Game podcast, Meek talked about getting rid of most of his team because they’ve found the right to drive his supercars.

“I lost 90 percent of my people to entitlement,” Meek revealed. ” Talking about Meek won’t let me drive his car. Why would I let you drive my car that cost $400,000 when you ain’t got $40,000. And why would you want to drive someone’s car that’s worth $400,000 if you only got $40,000 to your name? You can’t even get a flat fixed … Don’t be jamming on my brakes. N*gga be going back saying ‘Meek won’t let me jam his brakes on his car.’ Yo, those breaks cost $7,000.”

The Meek Mill Saga Has Reignited The Dinner With JAY-Z versus 500K Debate.

This week, Meek Mill announced that he has never been paid by his label despite a long and illustrious career.

If this is true, it would not be a huge surprise, as we all know the business is shady.

Even more intriguing is Meek’s claim that it has reignited the dinner argument between JAY-Z and $500K, which surfaces on Twitter every few months.

After what happened to Meek, most people recommend that no one should pick the dinner with Hov.

“Meek’s had a ridiculous number of dinner dates with JAY Z and is still going through sh*t with his record label. Friendly reminder that taking the $500K should forever be a no-brainer,” RoDmaN pointed out.

It’s not just that. Meek has been using Roc for management, but he hasn’t been paid either.
