The Game Reveals Release Date For His Album “Drillmatic”

The Game announced his retirement following the release of his final album, Born 2 Rap, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been busy in other areas. The rapper gave cosmetic surgery advice to ladies, arm-wrestled none other than Mike Tyson, and stoked his ongoing feud with 50 Cent.

Now, it appears that his not-so-relaxing musical retirement is coming to an end. The Game announced the release date for his upcoming album, Drillmatic Mind Vs. Heart, on Instagram on Saturday (May 28). It’ll be his first album in almost a year.

Game was holding his son, who is wearing an NWA chain, in an old Instagram post. He mentioned the release date in the caption: June 17th, 2022. He also stated that Hit-Boy would be the executive producer for the project. Drillmatic isn’t the first time we’ve heard of it; earlier this month, the renowned rapper hinted at its release. “I know my album gone be the best album of 2022 cause the energy feels like I just signed my deal. You’ve never heard me rap like this, I promise you,” he said.

And Game isn’t the only one who thinks his upcoming album is fantastic. Drillmatic would be the “hardest album” of 2022, according to G Herbo. Hit-Boy has also contributed to the album’s promotion. During a recent visit on Sway In The Morning, the producer debuted an unreleased track from The Game that should be on Drillmatic.

The Game Says He's Better Than Eminem At Rap

The Game Says He’s Better Than Eminem At Rap

The Game maintains that he is a greater rap artist than Eminem. The rapper told co-hosts Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson during his interview with the All the Smoke podcast. The podcast debuted on YouTube on Friday (May 27), that despite Eminem’s superior poetic skills, he could still beat him in a rap battle.

“When I say that I want to rap battle with Eminem, or Eminem is not the greatest rapper, or I’m better than him…I’m supposed to think that I’m better than every single rapper,” At the 58-minute mark, the rapper from Compton, California, explains.

Slim Shady, according to The Game, received a lot of help from Dr. Dre and Interscope Records, which he credits with catapulting him to MC superstardom.

“[I’m] not saying that [Eminem] can’t rap, the skillset is there. I’m just a better rapper,” he said. “I just haven’t been given the light that he’s been given. They didn’t put the money behind me.”

The Game On His Former Label And Eminem

The Game is referring to his former labels Aftermath and Interscope Records when he mentions “them.” The Documentary artist believes that the Interscope “machine” turned Eminem become a brilliant rapper. That is why he’s currently receiving so many plaudits. The Game feels that if Interscope gave him the same type of financial and marketing support as Em, he would be a fantastic MC as well.

The Game admitted that he understands that bragging about being a better rapper than Eminem will make headlines, but he stands by his words. “[Eminem is] a great lyricist, he’s just not better than me and if he is better than me I need to see it,” he stated.

Isaiah Rashad Addresses Past Sexuality Controversy at Coachella.

The rapper addressed his past issue over his sexuality last night at the Coachella Music Festival.

Isaiah Rashad took the stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California on Saturday, April 16. He played a video montage featuring bloggers, podcasters, and YouTubers who reported on his purported sex tape that was leaked into social media earlier this year before beginning his act.

Voiceovers from The Game, Joe Budden, Akademiks, and others discussed the sex tape in the film. “The purpose of doing that was to embarrass him. However, it backfired,” said one voice in the clip. Another voice said, “When his video leaked, his streams and everything went up. He’s up on the charts now.”

Isaiah Rashad Thanked His Fans For Their Massive Support

Rashad began his concert after the video concluded with “RIP Young,” from his 2021 album, The House Is Burning, and then transitioned into “Wat’s Wrong,” from his 2016 album The Sun’s Tirade.

The 30-year-old rhymer then paused for a moment to look out at the audience, who erupted in cheers. Rashad, who appeared to be in tears, thanked his supporters for their support. “I’ve seen y’all messages and all that shit, all the positivity. Y’all niggas kept me alive these last couple months,” he stated.

The Game is Preparing an Eminem Diss Song Called “The Black Slim Shady Is Coming.” Wack 100

The Game has been hard at work on his upcoming album Drillmatic, but not without expressing his displeasure with some of his peers.

Last month, the Compton native made fun of Eminem by declaring that he’d win a Verzuz battle against the self-proclaimed rap god, before reiterating his assertion that he’s the better rapper.

The Game, on the other hand, isn’t simply searching for a fight with Eminem at the Verzuz venue. According to his management, Wack 100, the former G-Unit member has a locked and loaded diss track directed at the Detroit rap veteran.

“This n-gga finna start another fire,” Wack 100 said during a recent Clubhouse call. “We starting a fire. The Black Slim Shady is coming. [Eminem] better be ready because this n-gga done went crazy … If [Eminem] responded to Machine Gun Kelly and Nick Cannon, boy… it is what it is.”

Wack continues to promote a The Game vs. Eminem confrontation, citing the 8 Mile rapper’s history of being “disrespectful” on the mic against his opponents, including his own family. Read more

The beef between 50 Cent and The Game rekindled.

The long-standing beef between 50 Cent and The Game has been rekindled after the POWER mogul makes a mockery of the Compton rapper because he was ignored by Jimmy Iovine.

A short video of the Interscope co-founder Iovine passing by The Game without interacting with him during a basketball game went viral on social media.

50 Cent posted the video on  Instagram and wrote, “[Laughing emoji] LOL The Man didn’t even look at him. Get this guy out of here 50 wrote the records. LMFAO.”

The Game answered him almost immediately. He wrote into his comment box. “Ni**a, I ain’t even see Mr. Burns,” he wrote. “[And[ if you wrote my records… write you one today & put it out n*gga !!! Britney Spears has been living her best life lately …

Her final step was to strip down and show off her body for the gram, but she had to cover her “private” parts with a flower and heart emoji.

Spears turned off the reply to the message, but that didn’t stop The Game from finding a way to process the photos.

The Compton rapper posted the photos on his Instagram, showing his support for the pop singer.

Spears was recently “fired” from her notorious tutelage.
