Video Of Kodak Black’s July Drug Trafficking Arrest Was Made Public
Two weeks after Kodak Black’s arrest in Florida stunned both the rapper and his fan base, police video of the event has now appeared online, showing us exactly how hectic things truly were for the Back For Everything artist on July 15.
Police stopped Yak while he was driving his Dodge Durango through Fort Lauderdale, stating that he had too much window tint and that they could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. They searched the area and found 31 Oxycodone pills and over $75,000 in cash.
In the leaked footage, Kodak can be seen agitatedly sitting in the backseat of a cruiser without a shirt on. At one heated moment in particular, the “The singer of “Love & War” bangs his head and exclaims, “F*ck bro. Damn dawg!”
The police gave the rapper an opportunity to talk with his brother while also informing him that they would need to wait for their supervisor’s approval before knowing if Yak could keep the money.
“My shit ain’t smell like weed. I don’t smoke weed. I ain’t smoke nothing, you feel me? He didn’t smell marijuana,” After a few seconds of silence, the obviously anxious star replied. “Damn bro, f*ck, dawg.”
Kodak Black has been given a $225K surety bond to pay and has been placed under house arrest by U.S. Magistrate Judge Jonathan Goodman. The controversial rapper must also submit to drug testing, wear an ankle monitor with GPS, and stay at home unless required for employment, medical appointments, or court appearances.
