Britney Spears Speaks Out On Justin Timberlake Using Her Name For Record Sales

Britney Spears hasn’t let go of anyone’s neck since she ushered in a new season of freedom from conservatorship. Spears’ Instagram photos have gone viral, and the superstar singer has frequently called out family members and former acquaintances for allegedly mistreating her behind the scenes. Spears has often insulted her mother and sister, but she also addressed her equally famous ex, Justin Timberlake, in a now-deleted Instagram outburst.

After the longtime friends became lovers, the Britney-Justin era of pop culture was a takeover made in Mickey Mouse Club heaven. Their highly publicized breakup dominated the news, and Timberlake even featured a Spears lookalike in his megahit classic “Cry Me a River” music video.

Timberlake has been mocked by Spears’ followers over the years for how he handled the separation, and Spears revisited that moment in her life in a lengthy Instagram message.

“Knowing that writing a book is the last thing you’d ever do… well, because you ran away from the drama and built a fantasy world for yourself… that’s why artists play characters to escape!!!!” Meanwhile, Timberlake came out in support of Spears during her quest to have her conservatorship lifted.
