Kodak Black’s Lawyer Requests That The Alleged Drugs Discovered By The Police Be Tested By A Third Party

Kodak Black’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen has submitted a motion to have the alleged drugs that were recovered by police during the rapper’s recent arrest in Florida examined by a third party. Cohen claims that third-party testing is “necessary” for a fair hearing, per documents acquired by Radar Online.

“It is impossible … to explore a defense on behalf of [Kodak] without being able to inspect, weigh, and independently test the substances,” according to Cohen’s statement.

According to reports, he added, “essential to ensure his right to a fair hearing, his right to confrontation, his right to prepare a defense on his own behalf, his right to effective assistance to counsel, and due process of law pursuant to the protections afforded to him by the Sixth and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution and the Florida Constitution.”

Black still faces two felony charges, one for trafficking and the other for possessing a controlled substance without a prescription, despite being freed on a $75,000 bond. During a traffic stop in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, 31 oxycodone tablets and $74,960 in cash were discovered in his possession. After allegedly smelling marijuana, police searched his car.

“Never judge a case based on an arrest,” Cohen initially said following the arrest. “There are facts and circumstances that give rise to a defense, especially in this case. We negotiated a bond of $75,000 and we will move forward with resolving the matter quickly.”

Kanye West Sued For $7million For Unpaid Concert Fees

Kanye West has consistently given his fans memorable concert experiences. Ye frequently collaborates with production companies that can help him realize his vision in order to put these performances together. Ye has worked with Phantom Labs in the past as a production business.

Sadly, Phantom Labs is reportedly suing Kanye right now, according to Complex. According to the narrative, Ye is being accused by Phantom Labs of not covering his $7.1 million bill. On his “Free Larry Hoover” concert, a DONDA 2 event, and even his postponed Coachella performance, the company collaborated with Ye. The business claims that while Kanye initially paid his payments, he later ceased doing so in the complaint.

The initial cost of Kanye’s bill was $6 million, but Phantom Labs finally had to pay a $1.1 million fine for canceling the Coachella performance. Phantom Labs intends to recover all of its costs from the lawsuit. Kanye hasn’t offered any commentary on the situation as of now.

This lawsuit and the one Ye is currently dealing with from the David Casavant archive are remarkably similar. Currently, the fashion label is suing Kanye for $400K in unpaid rental costs. DCA claims that Kanye first paid his costs, but later stopped entirely and the business was unable to collect, similar to the Phantom Labs complaint.

Travis Scott’s Team Sends A Message To Astroworld Victim’s Family Over $5M Bugatti Purchase

The family of 9-year-old Ezra Blount, an Astroworld victim, reportedly did not find Travis Scott’s purchase of a $5.5M Bugatti amusing earlier today (June 26). The tiny youngster would still be alive today, claims Bob Hillard, the family’s attorney, if Scott had “spent half of what he paid for the [car] on simple safety measures at the deadly music festival.”

Additionally, Hillard deemed the purchase to be “excessive” and advised that Travis’ entire course of conduct be scrutinized in light of the gravity of the situation.

The artist’s management quickly learned about the accusations made against their client and released a statement. A Scott representative, according to TMZ, described the story as “the latest attempt to exploit Astroworld victims and gaslight the media and the public.” Providing facts, the rep added that the expensive vehicle had been purchased back in 2020.

It was not only purchased long before the disastrous incident that occurred in November 2021, but it was also extensively covered by a number of media sites, including TMZ, which broke the story of the victim’s family today.

Adding to their comments, the representative informed the media outlet, “Misrepresenting a two-year-old car purchase to make an unprovoked and unjustified attack on Travis Scott is nothing more than another desperate publicity stunt to try to falsely blame Travis and intentionally manipulate public opinion, which won’t work.”

Kanye West’s 2020 Campaign Committee Claims Someone Stole Thousands Of Dollars

Kanye West’s 2020 presidential campaign did not go as planned, with the rapper receiving only roughly 66,000 votes across the country. The committe, according to TMZ, filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission on Tuesday (May 24), alleging that an anonymous individual stole $3,999 to pay off their own credit card debts.

According to the letter obtained by TMZ, between December 2021 and February 2022, someone gained access to the Kanye 2020 bank account cash three times. The campaign was unable to recover the $3,999 that had gone missing from the First Bank of Wyoming.

The FEC eventually flagged the transactions and notified Kanye West’s camp, but they haven’t been able to identify the source of the fraud. But no arrests have been made with the help of the cops.

Despite the failure of his presidential attempt, his confidence remains unshaken. However he plans to run again in the 2024 election, as he hinted during his 2021 Drink Champs interview. To wrap up the viral interview, he stated, “Just Ye 2024, let’s go.”

According to the FEC, Kanye put nearly $13 million of his personal money into his 2020 presidential campaign.

Johnny Depp And Amber Heard: To avoid conflict, The Court Is Staggering Exes’ Entrances And Exits

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard went on a break from their ongoing defamation case. TMZ discovered that the court has been doing everything it can to protect the two former lovers from colliding. Both performers’ entrances and exits have been meticulously managed by court officials, according to sources acquainted with the matter.

The times got staggered to avoid Johnny Depp and Amber Heard colliding. They’re transported to separate ends of the courthouse for lunch breaks and kept away from the public owing to their famous status.

Deputies stood between her and her ex in a clip from the Aquaman star’s Thursday testimony that has surfaced online. Some speculated that the two made eye contact in the heat of the moment, but sources close to one of the mothers denied this.

The Trial Is Set To Resume On May 16th

Due to a prior commitment by the judge, the defamation trial will resume on May 16th. When the trial resumes, Heard will return to the stand to face her counsel, Elaine Bredehoft, before being cross-examined.

The 36-year-old won’t be able to speak with any of her lawyers during her week off. She’ll use the time to rest and spend time with her family, including her sister, who has been staying with her throughout the trial, according to TMZ.

The jury will deliberate after closing arguments on May 27th. Depp got caught on camera snacking on gummy candy, doodling, and even snickering at his ex-wife’s testimony.

“Mr. Depp’s behaviour in this trial has been as pitiful as it was in their marriage,” a spokesperson for Heard stated. On the other hand, the father of two’s legal team has dubbed the actress’s time in court as “the performance of her life.”

Dave Chappelle can laugh about his attack at the Hollywood Bowl earlier this week. But his attacker, a young guy named Isaiah Lee, couldn’t. Lee appeared in court on Friday, and TMZ reports that he appeared to be in bad shape.

A public counsel informed the judge that the defendant’s right arm was in a sling and that he had fractured it during the Hollywood Bowl beating. Lee got stretched out after his attack on the comic.

Lee’s bail is set at $30,000. If he can pay it off, he’ll be with a protective order that mandates him to “stay at least 100 yards away from the Hollywood Bowl, Dave, and any other venue at which the comedian performs.”

Dave Chappelle stated that he urged security at Tuesday’s event to let him meet with his attacker before he got dragged away so he could get some answers. According to reports, the young man stated that he hoped to obtain “attention for his grandmother who he said she got forced out of her neighbourhood because of gentrification.”

Lee’s felony charges got dismissed by Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon. Who referred the case to the City Attorney. And charged him with assault with a weapon and unlawful entrance to the stage area during a performance.

Lee faces up to 18 months in county jail if convicted, though it’s probable he’ll serve less.

Kanye West may be avoiding the limelight for the time being, but that doesn’t mean he’s out of trouble. According to TMZ, a preacher is suing Ye for sampling without permission on one of the songs on his Grammy-nominated DONDA album.

Bishop David Paul Moten is suing the father of four, according to legal documents obtained by the outlet, for the song “Come To Life.” Which he claimed incorporates his voice and one of his sermons both in the opening and looped throughout.

According to Moten’s lawsuit, “70 seconds of the five minute and ten second lengthy title” use his consent, accounting for more than 20% of the song. The Bishop criticized Ye and the music industry for “willfully and egregiously [sampling] sound recordings of others without authorization or permission.”

UMG Recordings, Def Jam Recordings, and G.O.O.D Music are also named in the complaint, and the defendant is demanding damages from them all.

This isn’t Ye’s first musical feud. Smokepurrp, the rapper behind “Tide Pen,” claims Yeezus owes him $9 million in unpaid composition credits from 2018’s “I Love It.”

Tekashi 6ix9ine Has Been Charged With Ripping Off A Concert Livestream Company For $2 Million

Tekashi 6ix9ine Has Been Charged With Ripping Off A Concert Livestream Company For $2 Million

Tekashi 6ix9ine Has Been Charged With Ripping Off A Concert Livestream Company For $2 Million.

Tekashi 6ix9ine has fallen into yet another legal difficulty. He is still feeling he’s on the verge of making a big comeback. TMZ Hip Hop reported on Friday (April 15) that a concert streaming service is suing the Brooklyn rapper for canceling two booked events.

According to TMZ, Streamusic, has signed 6ix9ine to perform two shows in Hollywood, California in December 2021. The firm intended to stream both concerts live. However, 6ix9ine had other ideas and decided to miss the event entirely.

Tekashi 6ix9ine And Streamusic

Streamusic claimed to have paid Tekashi $150,000 for both performances. Also, the company instructed him to promote them on his Instagram page, according to documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop. When the firm attempted to convince him to perform the IG ads in early December, the “GUMMO” rapper allegedly stopped responding and eventually did not show up for the concerts.

6ix9ine contacted Streamusic in January to work out a new arrangement and reschedule the two shows. However, the firm claims the rapper vanished once more. They wrote seven different letters to Tekashi, according to Streamusic. Yet, they were all disregarded, and he never took the stage.

Streamusic Sues 6ix9ine

Streamusic is suing 6ix9ine for breach of contract and fraud, as well as $2 million in damages for allegedly bailing on the event many times. 6ix9ine isn’t short on cash, however, as he boasted about his wealth in an Instagram video broadcast on Thursday (April 14) while holding $1.3 million in cash.

Prior to that, 6ix9ine testified before a judge that his career had slowed since his stay in prison and that he was out of money. Wack 100 also stated that 6ix9ine was broke to the point where he needed $20 for gas alone.

Offset Request Reversal Of $950,000 Stolen Bentley Default Judgement: 'I didn't steal the car.' Offset was accused by Platinum Motorsports (PML) in Los Angeles of bailing on a 2020 Bentley Bentayga he allegedly rented and never returned in 2019. The Migos musician was sued by the corporation, which demanded $950,027.35 in payment for the vehicle. He eventually defaulted on the lawsuit, and the courts ordered him to pay the huge sum. Offset, according to Rolling Stone, filed a sworn statement in the court this week, claiming that he never drove or owned the car in question. He stated that the automobile was rented by Oriel Williams, the mother of one of his children. He agreed to pay for the rental, but said Williams contacted him in July 2020 to inform him that the vehicle had mysteriously vanished. He claimed he called Platinum right away and was told the problem had been fixed. Offset With His Insurance Company Following the incident, Offset claimed he contacted his insurance company, but his insurer claimed he wasn't protected for the purchase because he hadn't signed any rental agreement. He further stated that, “Not hearing otherwise from PML or the Los Angeles Police Department in 2020 or thereafter, I assumed that the Bentley — which was very unique and which I believed was protected with OnStar or some other electronic detection device — had either been recovered or that any loss had been covered by PML’s insurance.” Offset On Platinum's lawsuit The songwriter for "Red Room" also claimed that Platinum never served him with the lawsuit, instead sending it to an address in Atlanta where his father lived and where he's "never" lived. He further claimed that he never authorized his father to open letters on his behalf. Platinum's complaint was found to be deceptive since it "never advised the court that he did not sign the rental agreement in question, and he is not identified as an authorized driver on the rental contract," according to the Migos musician. In May, a hearing will be held on the subject. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments section

DJ Akademiks Claims Tory Lanez's Court Information Was Leaked By Roc Nation

DJ Akademiks Claims Tory Lanez’s Court Information Was Leaked By Roc Nation

DJ Akademiks decided to weigh in on Tory Lanez’s alleged shooting of Megan Thee Stallion in the feet. Before Lanez’s felony assault hearing had started in February, Akademiks tweeted out details about the case.

On February 3, Akademiks tweeted, “It was discovered in court [a] few moments ago that Tory Lanez DNA WAS NOT found on the weapon in the Meg Thee Stallion case”. He instantly erased the message, claiming that the DNA test had yielded inconclusive results.

The Outspoken Blogger’s Tweet Sparked A Flurry Of Back-and-forth.

DJ Akademiks’ single tweet sparked a series of back-and-forth interactions with Megan Thee Stallion. The prosecutors in Tory Lanez’s case brought up Ak sharing undisclosed material with the public during this week’s hearing.

On Twitter, Rolling Stone reporter Nancy Dillon stated, “Lanez’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, maintained that Lanez did not supply DJ Akademiks with any information in the case before Akademiks posted his Twitter post. He posted ‘Tory Lanez DNA was not found on the weapon in the Meg Thee Stallion case,'”

Nancy Dillon’s tweet prompted DJ Akademiks to quote her and add his own reply. “I got it from Roc Nation… *shrug*,” the controversial Off The Record podcast host simply wrote.

DJ Akademiks Makes a Strong Remark Regarding Jay-Z’s Firm

Megan Thee Stallion is a member of Jay-Roc Z’s Nation management team. Tory Lanez hinted that he was the target of a smear campaign. Some speculated that Roc Nation was attempting to tarnish Lanez by manipulating the media.

The assertion by DJ Akademik that Roc Nation leaked favorable court material for Tory Lanez contradicts claims by Lanez supporters that Roc Nation is behind the scheme to bring the Canadian rapper down. Ak’s accusation is most likely more trolling than truth-telling.
