UK’s Wireless Festival prides itself on the fact that the biggest names in Hip hop and R&B will be present. They revealed to the public those who will be headliners for the 2022 Festival lineup on Friday morning, 25th of February. The big names include Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, J. Cole, Tyler, The Creator, A$AP Rocky, SZA, and Dave. They will be headlining the Festival between the 1st – 10th of July, while the rest of the lineup set will be announced later.

 

In previous years, the festival usually takes place in a single location, but the plan has changed this year, it will be taking place across three different locations: London’s Finsbury Park and Crystal Palace Park, as well as Birmingham’s NEC.

 

The Wireless Festival that took place in 2021 featured these artists Future, Migos and Skepta headlining. Others that are also included in Lineup are Gunna, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Meek Mill, Polo G, Swae Lee, Megan Thee Stallion, Rick Ross, and Young Thug.

 

Parklife is equally planning on bringing up a strong lineup for 2022, elsewhere in the UK. Which will take place at Manchester’s Heaton Park on the 11th & 12th of June which includes the following lineup: 50 Cent, Tyler, The Creator, Megan Thee Stallion, Tems, and more.

Megan Thee Stallion Reveals Text Message Apology Tory Lanez Sent Her After Alleged Shooting. 

 

The lawyer of Megan Thee Stallion, Alex Spiro released a statement to XXL concerning an event that went viral on social media today between his client and Tory Lanez. “This is nothing more than the dishonest machinations of a desperate man.”

 

This occurred several hours after which Megan Thee insulted blogs for reporting a false event concerning the Tory Lanez shooting case. She later revealed to the public the text message Tory Lanez sent to her during the incident in July 2020.

 

Megan took to her Instagram page on Wednesday, 23rd of February, and posted the screenshot of the message sent to the 2019 XXL freshmen by Tory Lanez where he was apologizing for his actions.

 

“Lie yo way out of Mag … if you ain’t do shit what you was apologizing for? THE LAWYERS GOT YO PHNE RECORDS AND MINE. ALL YOUR TXT. THEY GOT YOU RECORDED ON THE JAIL PHONE TALKING TO KELSEY APOLOGIZING BEGGING US NOT TO TALK,” Megan wrote in the caption.

Kodak Black Expects Another child From Another Woman. He is again set to father another child again. This is coming after almost one week he of welcoming a child with another woman. Black and Daijanae Ward, black’s baby mama to be, celebrated the pregnancy as they hold a party together  in Florida on Tuesday (February 22). 

 

Ward and Kodak sat on a blue and pink chairs respectively, as they watched the gender of their child revealed. The unborn child has been named Kapri already. A car tire burnout was used to discover the gender of the child. Kodak and Ward realized they will be having a baby girl because the car emitted pink smoke in the presence of friends and family. 

 

The rapper recently joined the #GirlDad club last month when his ex-girlfriend, Maranda Johnson (real estate agent), gave birth to a baby girl. Kodak was glad and took to Instagram to celebrate after the child’s birth.

Lil Durk announced another date for new album release. The new album was initially said to be released on Tuesday (February 22) and fans across the world have been expectant of it. However, it appears as if Lil Durk had another option. 

 

He announced a delay experienced in releasing the album on Tuesday as planned. Consequently, the new release date is next month. However, Durk, 29, released a single which he titled, “AHHH HA” to whet the appetite of the expecting fans. 

 

The single will also be included in his coming album. The new single has been trending and making some noise since its release. Also, some of the lyrics in the songs are said to be directed to Young Boy Never Broke Again.  

 

Being part of a feud  with NBA YoungBoy for a few months ago within the last few years ago, Lil apparently threw a jab at YoungBoy in “AHHH HA.” He referred to a person who never stops bringing out murders despite recently getting out of prison. Durk didn’t mention YoungBoy’s name. However, considering the situation of YoungBoy, Lil Durk was apparently referring to him.

G Perico, the Los Angeles rapper shared a video on his Instagram page of an accident that damaged a small part of his teeth and also bounced his head off the windshield of his old school Chevy. 

 

While G Perico cleaned the bloodstain on his face, the cameraman observed the frame of his totalled 1987 SS Monte Carlo Aerocoupe critically, where the rapper assures in a caption post that it will be brought back into shape by Summer.

 

“God damn, man they blew me out,” G Perico said in the video. “Some muthafucka’s swerved in front of me. They don’t want to see greatness. Aye, guess what, we still going to make the summertime though.”

 

Many of his friends and peers expressed their concerns and were relieved because he didn’t sustain too much injury from the accident.

 

“Stay safe young loc,” Snoop Dogg wrote while Curren$y added, “Replaceable things G shit don’t stop.”

Lil Baby has confirmed his new album to be on the way. 

The Atlanta rapper, Lil baby assures his fans on Twitter on Monday (21st of February) that his new album and new music are almost completed. Even as his second popular and exceptional release My Turn remains comfortably on the billboard.

 

“Album Almost Done,” Baby tweeted out. “New Music two Tho.”

 

He made this announcement after he retweeted a post from chart data which stated that Baby’s popular album My Turn has spent a total of 100 weeks on the billboard 200. Also, the album has “never left the top 100 and still ranks” in the “top 20.

 

Lil Baby’s enormous album My Turn was released on the 28th of February, 2020, and immediately ranked number one on the billboard in its first week of release. The project’s view increased by double before the end of the year, whereby he realized close to $19 million in the process. This made Baby made the HipHopDX’s Rapper of the Year award.

Yeat is an upcoming music artist with an unconventional music style that tends to catch the attention of many youths. The 21-year-old artist planned a musical concert in Los Angeles at the Roxy Theatre on Sunday night (20th of February), but the concert was later canceled due to overcrowding. It was reported that 1000 people took over the Sunset Boulevard as they were not allowed into the venue.

 

The police in Los Angeles were notified and they arrived some minutes before 8p.m PT to dismiss the crowd. They were finally able to disperse the crowd around 10:30p.m PT, during the entire process, an helicopter roam the sky.

 

Sunset Boulevard was forcefully shut down by the police for some hours, although they didn’t arrest anyone.

 

Many people conclude that the venue oversold the concert as there were not enough tickets to distribute to the people. According to ABC7, Yeat was not at the venues yet.

 

“It appears the venue oversold the event,” the County Sheriff’s deputy said. “Too many people and not enough tickets.”

Year commented on his Instagram stories shortly after the incident.

 

On the industry side, Justin Bieber’s concert too was postponed due to his Covid-19 diagnosis.

He also made it clear that it would not have been impossible to make the same amount if DONDA 2 was on streaming services.
