Dave Chappelle’s assaulter Isaiah Lee is receiving treatment for his serious injuries whilel information regarding him is becoming available. During Chappelle’s set at the Netflix Is A Joke Festival at the Hollywood Bowl, the 23-year-old stormed the stage. The incident got captured on film and went viral in the early morning hours of May 4, and no one got hurt. Lee was with a knife at the moment, and based on the photo showing him strapped on a gurney, he got dragged to the backstage with a fury.
“The performances by Chappelle at the Hollywood Bowl were epic and record-breaking and he refuses to allow last night’s incident to overshadow the magic of this historic moment,” Chappelle’s spokesperson stated.
In the meantime, further information regarding Lee is on the internet. While Lee hasn’t revealed his motivations, he published a song called “Dave Chappell” that is allegedly directed towards Chappelle. Lee allegedly used the handle “NoName Trapper,” and his Instagram account has since got deleted.
According to TMZ, Lee released a short video of himself using a filter that gave him diabolical horns and a bleeding nose before attacking Chappelle. Lee faces a charge of aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon.
