Drake Says The Young Money Reunion Has Been Postponed Following A Positive COVID-19 Test
The eagerly anticipated Young Money reunion in Toronto appears to be postponed from its originally planned date of August 1st. After testing positive for COVID-19, Drake said that his Toronto party with Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj will be postponed. The rapper said he would reschedule the festival as soon as his test came back clean, though he hasn’t said when that may be.
“I am truly devastated to say that I tested positive for COVID and the Young Money reunion show scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled to the SOONEST date possible. I will keep the city posted and share the new date whenever we have it locked. Until then I hope everyone stays safe and healthy and I love you all I am so sorry for letting you down on our weekend together and the moment I test negative I will give you everything I got on stage (except the COVID),” he stated.
The All Canadian North Stars concert, which featured classic hip-hop and R&B performers who helped establish Canada’s music culture, served as the opening act for the rapper’s OVO Fest on Thursday. The OVO Fest lineup on Friday includes Chris Brown and Lil Baby’s One Of Them Ones concert in Toronto.
