Jennifer Lopez Documentary ‘Halftime’ Will Open The Tribeca Film Festival.
Jennifer Lopez will be in Tribeca. The rapper Picture Festival announced Wednesday that J. Loper my’s upcoming Netflix documentary “Halftime” has been chosen as the festival’s opening night film.
Amanda Micheli’s film “Halftime” will premiere as part of the festival on June 8 at the United Palace in Washington Heights, ahead of its Netflix premiere on June 14. The Tribeca Film Festival takes place from June 8 to June 19, this year.
“Halftime” is an intimate look at Lopez as she reflects on her accomplishments and growth as an artist. While she continues navigating the second half of her career to amuse, motivate, and inspire.

The Beacon Theater, the United Palace, Pier 57, Spring Studios, BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, SVA Theatre, Village East by Angelika, Cinépolis Chelsea, Waterfront Plaza at Brookfield Place, and Battery Park City will all host the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival.
