Kanye West Reveals His Collaboration With Jay-Z
Kanye West is working on a new song with Jay-Z, he revealed this on Thursday during an evening listening to his new album “DONDA”.
The Rapper recently hosted a listening party for his upcoming album “DONDA” in Atlanta on Thursday and fans were thrilled that hitmaker Jay-Z was a guest and this marks their first collaboration in five years.
You can hear Jay-Z rapping, “Donda, I’m wit your baby when I touch back road / Told him stop all that red cap, we goin’ home / Cannot be with all of these sins casting stones / This might be the return of The Throne / Hova and Yeezy like Moses and Jesus.”
And according to Young Guru, Jay-Z’s verse was added to the song just hours before fans first heard it.
He tweeted: “HOV did the verse today at 4pm”.
Although tickets for the listening night sold for between $20 and $50, Kanye reportedly donated $5,000 to staff and students at local colleges and universities.
The 44-year-old rapper was supported at the event by his ex-wife Kim Kardashian West, their four children and sister Khloe Kardashian.
The album preview also revealed that Playboi Carti and Roddi Ricch appear on multiple tracks on the disc.
Carti could be heard rapping at a fast pace before Kanye took over the song while Roddi was on a piano track with lines like ” They said I was mad at the Grammy’s/But I’m looking at my Grammy right now”.
Other artists were also featured on several tracks on the long-awaited album.
