Kodak Black Says “Not Again” Following His Arrest In Florida
Kodak Black made news over the weekend after police said they had detained the Florida rapper. He was stopped for having tinted windows and expired registration tags. Police claimed to have smelled marijuana, which prompted a search of the car where they allegedly found thousands of dollars in cash and more than 30 oxycodone tablets.
Yak was eventually released on bond, but the rapper now has another legal issue to handle. On Sunday night, the rapper replied to the arrest news on Instagram by posting his own mugshot and a parody of an Orlando, Florida, Channel 6 news broadcast from 2011 about a man “with more pussy than he could handle,” a reference to a cat hoarder. He wrote, “SMH Not Again.”
He also disclosed that he was going to remove the wrap from his Maybach due of the attention it attracted before publishing his mugshot. He acknowledged that the police had stopped him because of the illegal tags by posting pictures of himself in front of the automobile.
“Gotta Take The Wrap Off The Maybach Kuz Ion Wanna B Followed ! They Already Know It’s Me , I Can’t Roll In Peace & I Ain’t Tryna B Bothered,” He included #RUNTHISTAG in the post’s caption.
Kodak’s attorney earlier released a statement after his detention that contained a cryptic message. “Never judge a case based on an arrest. There are facts and circumstances that give rise to a defense, especially in this case. We negotiated a bond of $75,000 and we will move forward with resolving the matter quickly,” He informed TMZ.
