Lloyd Banks Performs A Brand-new Freestyle On The Funk Flex Show

Lloyd Banks attended the Funkmaster Flex concert as part of his promotional tour for his most recent record. In the episode, the rapper performs freestyle #187 on Hot97, spitting bars over the recognizable beat of Dr. Dre’s 1992 song “Bi**hes Ain’t Sh*t.”

In addition to Conway The Machine, “The Course Of The Inevitable2” also has guest performances from Jadakiss, Benny the Butcher, Tony Yayo, Dave East, and others, in the rapper’s new album. 

“[The Course of the Inevitable] comes from drive, and all of the things that I had in me before my first record contract,” Banks said in a Complex interview published last month. “Go backwards and keep in mind why you’re doing it when you’re unsure of what to do next. You must keep in mind how it was before you received any kind of compensation. Then you consider the difficulties, difficulties, and hardships you faced there. Consistency is the key to all achievement, I came to learn.”

Banks’ most recent freestyle, which is not his first for Funk Flex, was released less than a month after his most recent effort. It is his fifth solo album overall and the sequel to The Course of the Inevitable, which was released in 2021.
