Nick Cannon Declares His ‘Balls’ Are His ‘Most Priceless Asset’ After Bold $10M Insurance Move
Nick Cannon Insures His Testicles for $10 Million, Calls Them His ‘Most Priceless Asset’
Nick Cannon has never shied away from outrageous headlines, but his latest revelation might just take the crown. In a move that’s equal parts bold, bizarre, and brilliant, the 44-year-old entertainer revealed he’s insured his testicles for a jaw-dropping $10 million, claiming they are his “most priceless asset.”
Appearing on the Tea Time with Raven & Miranda podcast on May 1, Cannon spilled all the juicy details—and yes, he was completely serious.
“It started off like, ‘Yo, this would be a good joke,’ but we really went through with it,” Cannon said with a laugh.
The Balls Are in Nick Cannon’s Court
The unexpected journey began in June 2024 when Cannon starred in a cheeky commercial for natural grooming brand Dr. Squatch. Known for their irreverent marketing and manscaping products, the company approached Cannon with a curious idea: What if he insured his testicles, the way some celebrities insure their legs or smiles?
“Dr. Squatch, who is like, they’re known for manscaping and all that stuff, they were like, ‘Yo, a lot of celebrity women are insuring their legs in case something goes wrong,’” Cannon recalled.
When asked what his most valuable asset was, Cannon didn’t hesitate: “My balls!”
What started as a joke soon turned into a full-blown reality. Cannon confirmed he now holds a real insurance policy that places a $5 million value on each of his testicles.
“I got the insurance policy in my office. It’s legit,” he said proudly.
The move may seem outrageous on the surface, but Cannon made it clear that there’s a serious side to this decision. If anything were to happen to his, well, prized jewels, the policy would benefit his children.
“If I happen to lose one, all the money goes to my kids,” he added.
A Legacy of Love (and Kids)
It’s no secret that Nick Cannon’s family tree is vast—and still growing. With 12 children and a deeply emotional history, Cannon has embraced fatherhood with open arms.
Here’s a quick breakdown of his expanding family:
- Twins Monroe and Moroccan, 14, with ex-wife Mariah Carey
- Golden Sagon, 8; Powerful Queen, 4; and Rise Messiah, 1, with Brittany Bell
- Twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, 3; and Beautiful Zeppelin, 2, with Abby De La Rosa
- Legendary Love, 2, with Bre Tiesi
- Onyx Ice Cole, 2, with LaNisha Cole
- Zen (deceased), and Halo Marie Cannon, 2, with Alyssa Scott
Cannon became especially emotional while discussing Zen, who tragically passed away at just five months old in December 2021 due to brain cancer. That experience, he’s shared in past interviews, shaped his parenting journey and made him even more protective of his children’s futures.
When asked if he was done having kids, Cannon hesitated.
“I love the baby stage,” he admitted. “Baby to toddler. So fun. Because 3-year-olds, those are the three-nagers. They think they know everything.”

“Cringe Cannon” and the Next Generation of Stars
Despite his superstar status, Cannon insists his kids keep him grounded—sometimes a little too grounded. His eldest children, Monroe and Moroccan, recently gave him a new nickname: “Cringe Cannon.”
“Those my homies,” he said affectionately. “We hang out, went to the movies this weekend and Raising Cane’s. I’m just the guy with the license.”
When it comes to their future in the entertainment world, Cannon said he’s not opposed—but he’s determined to guide them through it the right way.
“As the father, I kinda know, I’ve been here, so I’m never gonna let an agent take advantage of you,” he explained. “I’m never gonna allow you to be on set by yourself. Like, because this is my world.”
Cannon acknowledged that his kids have a natural advantage, but he believes in turning nepotism into mentorship.
“There is some nepotism that’s gonna take place, but this is the family business.”
With experience across music, television, comedy, and more, Cannon sees the entertainment industry as a legacy his children can inherit—just like his insurance policy. Whether it’s protecting his assets or protecting his kids, Nick Cannon is seriously invested in his future.
