Quavo Lands A Starring Role In ‘Die Hard’ Writer’s Action-Thriller Movie
Quavo will star in an upcoming feature film about Atlanta’s street takeover automobile culture. The action thriller, scripted by Jeb Stuart (Die Hard, The Fugitive) and directed by Greg Jonkajty (Netflix’s The Liberator), will star the Migos rapper in the lead role.
Guy Miller is Quavo’s character’s name, and he’s characterized as “a recent parolee who’s attempting to rehabilitate his life, when circumstances propel him back into Atlanta’s thriving and dangerous takeover scene. He must live up to his reputation as one of the slipperiest street operators in a lethal, head-long race against time.”
The film will combine live-action and animation to examine the infatuation with sideshows and stunts in vehicle culture. Which drivers use gimmicks to take over roadways and parking lots. Quality Films, a division of Quality Control Music, is producing the film alongside Trioscope.
On Wednesday (April 27), Quavo posted a statement in conjunction with the announcement. He expressed his excitement for the film set in his hometown.
“I’m really excited for this opportunity, especially shooting in my hometown of Atlanta,” he stated. “This film is an ideal opportunity to further delve into my craft, and I can’t wait to see how the action plays out in this animated environment.”
