Rapper Tyga Arrested For Assaulting Ex-Girlfriend
Rapper Tyga, 31, was arrested in Los Angeles on Tuesday for assaulting his ex-girlfriend Camaryn Swanson. After paying $50,000 bail, he was allowed to leave the agency, reports ‘The Wrap’.
“When I tried to leave, he physically attacked me”
Camaryn reported assault on Monday after an argument at Tyga’s home. TMZ initially reported that she stood at Tyga’s door that night uninvited and started screaming. According to the rapper, an argument arose because his ex-girlfriend would have been under the influence. After TMZ reported on it, Camaryn sent the gossip site photos of her battered face and screenshots of text messages that allegedly had her picked up by a driver.
The model also shared photos of her injuries in an Instagram Story, where she wrote: “I didn’t show up screaming or uninvited. When I tried to leave, he physically attacked me and refused to let me go for hours.” After the incident, Camaryn called the police. He found visible injuries and had a report of domestic violence recorded.
Tyga, who is actually called Michael Stevenson, and Swanson started a relationship at the beginning of this year that would have ended by now. Tyga had a thing with Blac Chyna from 2011 to 2014, with whom he had son King Cairo (almost 9). Later, Tyga and Chyna became brother-in-law and sister-in-law when he began dating Kylie Jenner and she dated Kylie’s half-brother, Rob Kardashian.
