Lil Uzi Vert Expresses His Support For Kodak Black In The Midst Of Legal Drama

Lil Uzi Vert has stepped up to defend his friend Kodak Black a day after he used Twitter to make his case. Kodak was apparently stopped recently while in Florida because the tinting on his windows were too dark. The rapper was reportedly arrested right away after police allegedly found pills inside the car and expired tags during the traffic stop.

Kodak labeled the accusations “character assassination” and stated that the police pulled him over because of “racial profiling,” on Twitter, Uzi expressed his support.

“Everybody know Kodak Jus got shot I seen this N*gga with his scripts,” Uzi stated. “Idk why he going thru this sh*t still Mannn Wtf going on down there In Broward ? @KodakBlack1k you blessed tho fam you will threw any situation that’s put in front of you [salute emoji][100 emoji].”

Kodak Black’s Lawyer Requests That The Alleged Drugs Discovered By The Police Be Tested By A Third Party

Kodak Black’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen has submitted a motion to have the alleged drugs that were recovered by police during the rapper’s recent arrest in Florida examined by a third party. Cohen claims that third-party testing is “necessary” for a fair hearing, per documents acquired by Radar Online.

“It is impossible … to explore a defense on behalf of [Kodak] without being able to inspect, weigh, and independently test the substances,” according to Cohen’s statement.

According to reports, he added, “essential to ensure his right to a fair hearing, his right to confrontation, his right to prepare a defense on his own behalf, his right to effective assistance to counsel, and due process of law pursuant to the protections afforded to him by the Sixth and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution and the Florida Constitution.”

Black still faces two felony charges, one for trafficking and the other for possessing a controlled substance without a prescription, despite being freed on a $75,000 bond. During a traffic stop in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, 31 oxycodone tablets and $74,960 in cash were discovered in his possession. After allegedly smelling marijuana, police searched his car.

“Never judge a case based on an arrest,” Cohen initially said following the arrest. “There are facts and circumstances that give rise to a defense, especially in this case. We negotiated a bond of $75,000 and we will move forward with resolving the matter quickly.”

Roddy Ricch Admits Himself, Kodak Black And NBA Youngboy As The Best Rappers Under 25

Roddy Ricch Admits Himself, Kodak Black And NBA Youngboy As The Best Rappers Under 25

The debut album by Roddy Ricch, Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial, is possibly among the best in the past five years. He unfortunately succumbed to the sophomore slump and underwhelmed with his second studio album. On Friday, he released a three-track album named The Big 3 in response to critics who have stated that he has fallen off, instead of using it as motivation or as a source of discouragement.

After the album’s release, the rapper discussed this generation’s top artists during an appearance on Power 106. “It’s n***as that’s of my generation but got poppin’ but they like older,” Prior to stating the age range as 20 to 25, Roddy remarked.. “I’d say me, and Youngboy, and Kodak. That’s the age range right there,” Added Roddy. All three musicians have had a profound influence on culture, however Kodak Black and Youngboy outperform Roddy in terms of catalogs.

Roddy has been making hints his mixtape days are coming back, even though his most recent project may not have been well received by his fans. Roddy announced the arrival of Feed Tha Streets III before delivering Live Life Fast. He declared that the project would end this year sometime in late 2021. Although he hasn’t recently disclosed any details about the project, The Big 3’s release could be a sign that he’s testing the waters before releasing his next one in its entirety.
