Rick Ross Attempts A Jamaican Accent, During A Studio Session

Rick Ross is a multi-talented individual. He is a successful businessman, a podcaster, and of course, a rapper. He’s currently attempting to add impersonation to his list of skills.

Rozay attempts to sound Jamaican in a video uploaded to Instagram and even displays some Patois. He appears to be in the studio, so perhaps he’s teasing a new path for whatever will come after his earlier this year released Richer Than I Ever Been.

Ross records himself in the video reciting various West Indian proverbs. People that sound like they are from Jamaica respond to him in the background.

Ross hasn’t really used many Jamaican elements in his music before, but in 2020, he collaborated with Skip Marley on the reggae R&B mashup “Make Me Feel,” as noted by HipHopDX. Additionally, Ross and Nigerian Afropop musician Adekunle Gold released the song “5 Star” back in August.

Fans may be set to see Ross make a global pivot as a result of that cooperation and this new clip. Either that, or he’s just attempting to blend in with some studio colleagues.

Ross has been keeping himself occupied with a number of endeavors in addition to learning his patois. The Miami rapper made an appearance on Freddie Gibbs’ star-studded $oul $old $eperately in September.

Rick Ross Explains Why He Has Never Filed A Lawsuit Against A Musician

Finding reports of musicians criticizing their contracts is not difficult. Musicians frequently use public forums to voice their complaints about contracts they’re trying to break out of or to call out anyone they think are trying to do them dirty, whether it be with their label, management, or a brand. Ross claims that he has never done this and isn’t even familiar with it since, as he recently disclosed on the Beyond The Chair Podcast, he settles those conflicts one-on-one.

“You gotta realize when you a young artist, I’m sure after you become successful, whatever you look back on you’ll consider it a bad contract,” Rozay stated.

“Have I ever been taken advantage of? No,” he continued. “Have I ever been robbed? No. Have I ever had to sue someone I was in business with musically? No.” Ross never felt the need to go to court, which astonished the hosts.

“It was just the way I moved, I guess,” Ross responded. “Whoever I was in the contract with, we always had [an] open phone conversation. So, if it was anything that was a problem, I presented it and they just explained it to me. If it’s respectable, I’ma respect it because I always felt like, any contract I sign, whatever couple years it was, I could work myself out of this in no time really.”

Rick Ross Explains Why He Has Never Been Required To Sue Anyone He Has Collaborated With

Rick Ross has never had to take anyone he has collaborated with to court, claims the MMG billionaire as a result of his constant regard for people who have worked with him.

“You gotta realize when you a young artist I’m sure after you become successful whatever you look back on you will consider it a bad contract,” As stated by Rick Ross in a Beyond The Chair podcast interview. “Have I ever been taken advantage of? No. Have I ever been robbed? No. Have I ever had to sue someone I was in business with musically? No.”

He added, “It was just the way I moved I guess. Whoever I was in the contract with we always had an open phone conversation, so if there was anything that was a problem I presented it and just explain it to me. If it’s respectable I’m gonna respect it because I always felt like any contract I signed whatever couple years it was I could work myself out of this.”

Although Rozay has never had to go to court, he has certainly had his share of disagreements and is now embroiled in a significant one with Gillie Da Kid. On a recent episode of his podcast Million Dollaz Worth of Game, Gillie felt compelled to respond to Rick Ross, who had called him a “fraud” months earlier after Mack Maine refuted a claim Gillie had made about meeting up with his former rival Lil Wayne. Rick Ross had made the criticism after Mack Maine’s denial. Gillie continued by making light of Rick Ross’s most recent farming endeavors, which Ross found offensive.

“Fuck wrong with you? Don’t ever comment on nothing about me n-gga, when you used to be a C.O. n-gga,” Gillie said at the time. “When you used to lock n-ggas like Wallo in the cell n-gga. This ain’t got nothing to do with you player. … ‘I just bought a cow,’ why the fuck would you buy a cow, n-gga? … Fuck these old n-ggas. They mad at me cause I tell ’em fuck ’em, all you n-ggas pussy, you ain’t gonna do nothing. He ain’t said it, I said it.”

“Fellas, fellas… let me give you the real game,” Rick Ross said in a response video as he loitered around his Georgia mansion in a robe. “I spend more money on my cow huffs than you do on your wife and kids every month, you should take notes.”

Gillie Da Kid Claims That Rick Ross Owes Meek Mill Money

Gillie Da Kid Claims That Rick Ross Owes Meek Mill Money

Gillie Da Kid and Rick Ross have been having some trouble lately. Da Kid attacked Miami rapper Ross in an interview on Million Dollaz Worth of Game after Ross referred to him as a fraud, Gillie said “these old n***as, they don’t hear the roar of the crowd no more, and they still think the world gon’ come back so they be on Instagram and they be on social media doing dumb s**t. ‘I just bought a cow’ and all this dumb s**t.” Ross later reacted to defend his cows, claiming, “Let me give you the real game. When I spend more money on my cows’ huffs than you do on your wife and kids every month, you should be taking notes.”

Gillie has now raised the stakes once again in the feud. Da Kid said in a rage shared on Instagram that Ross owes Meek Mill money, and that he has the Philadelphia rapper trapped in a “1914 slave deal.”

Gillie accused Ross of several wrongdoings in the three-minute clip, including poking his nose in places it shouldn’t have been. “That’s ya problem, ya always minding n****s’ business. You was mindin’ Birdman’s business some years back when you was running around talking about, ‘Give Khaled the money you owe him!'” Gillie stated.

Gillie then talked about the Meek Mill incident. “You give Meek the money you owe him, n***a,” he stated. “You got him in a 1914 slave deal. A Harriet Tubman joint that he signed when he was 19 and now he’s 35. Why you ain’t renegotiate with a real n***a?” Gillie continued by praising Meek for being able to overcome the allegedly poor contract.. “Thank God he’s f**kin’ with them white boys. He’d f**k around, be broke, busted, and disgusted f**kin’ with you. But he’s a hell of a businessman, though,” he added. “Salute to you, Meek.”

Rick Ross Reacts To Gillie Da King For Insulting His Cows

Rick Ross Reacts To Gillie Da King For Insulting His Cows

Rick Ross is known for having a petty side when necessary. Today, the rapper seemed to formally respond to Gillie Da King, who had previously called Ross a “fake” in response. Ross was targeted by Gillie because of his collection of farm animals, which included cows. He called him out for his job as a C.O. back in the day after making fun of Ross.

When Ross revealed that he was starting a podcast, it seemed as though he was responding to the rumors. Ross appeared to be attempting merely to annoy Gillie, though. Ross then posted a video in which he retaliated against Gillie’s bank account and the insults directed against his cows.

“Fellas, fellas, let me give you the real game. When I spend more money on my cows’ huffs than you do on your wife and kids every month, you should be — take notes,” he said this just before unveiling Lulu, a sculpture of a bear he constructed out of bush.

Even though Gillie didn’t have anything to say about the cows, he responded when he found out Ross was starting a podcast. He published a picture of Rick Ross dressed as a correctional warden and advised him to call his podcast Lock It Up in a since-deleted post.

“I got ur name 4 ur podcast @richforever aka The Mickey Mouse Show,” he used the laughing emoji when writing. “Ur history ain’t right to fuck with me u betta leave that alone.”

Rick Ross Introduces A New Podcast Amid Gillie Da Kid Feud

Rick Ross and Gillie Da Kid are obviously not fond of one another. Ross recently referred to Gillie as a “fake,” which sparked a tirade on Gillie’s podcast, “Million Dollaz Worth Of Game.” Ross was roasted by Gillie Da Kid during this tirade for his prior employment as a corrections officer, as well as for establishing a farm and purchasing wildlife.

“These old n***as, they don’t hear the roar of the crowd no more, and they still think the world gon’ come back so they be on Instagram and they be on social media doing dumb shit. I just bought a cow and all this dumb shit,” Gillie stated.

Although Ross was made fun of for something relatively insignificant, it appears like the artist is having a lot of fun with it. Ross confesses that he wants to establish his very own podcast and that he wants it to be the most popular of them all in a video clip uploaded by DJ Akademiks.

Ross has not yet decided on a name for this project, but he did mention that he will let fans choose. In fact, he’ll send the fan who made the game three bottles of booze if he selects a fan-made title. Naturally, Ross has launched his very own podcast-based competition.
