Ice Cube Warns AI Music Creators - I Don't Wanna Hear That Bullsh-T

Ice Cube Warns AI Music Creators: “I Don’t Wanna Hear That Bullsh-T”

Ice Cube, renowned for his candidness, recently expressed his strong opposition to the current trend of artificial intelligence (AI) in music. During a conversation on the Full Send podcast, the former N.W.A member made it clear that he has no interest in AI-generated songs. When asked about the viral AI-produced collaboration between Drake and The Weeknd, called “Heart on My Sleeve,” Ice Cube dismissively replied, “I don’t wanna hear that bullshit.” He even suggested taking legal action against the creators and platforms involved in the dissemination of such content.

Ice Cube is not alone in his skepticism toward AI technology. Fellow rapper and Black Eyed Peas co-founder, will.i.am, shared similar concerns during an interview on SiriusXM. He highlighted the need to safeguard personal biometric data, such as “facial math” and voice frequency, in order to prevent potential misuse. Will.i.am emphasized that without proper regulation, individuals could face serious repercussions, ranging from identity theft to unauthorized access to personal accounts.

As the influence of AI continues to grow, artists like Ice Cube and will.i.am are shedding light on the importance of establishing comprehensive guidelines to protect creative ownership and personal data. With technology advancing at an unprecedented rate, it is crucial for society to adapt and implement appropriate measures to govern this new frontier.

The Weeknd Postpones His Sold-Out Los Angeles performance Three Songs Into His Set

The Weeknd’s performance at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on night one went wonderfully well, but yesterday night was his second time performing in the City of Angels, and he was unable to say the same (September 3).

According to the NY Post, Abel Tesfaye had only performed three songs when he abruptly stopped performing in the middle of his Starboy smash, “Can’t Feel My Face,” and left the stage.

As another song started, the 32-year-old came back to the audience to address them, explaining that he had lost his voice and wouldn’t be able to complete the performance. The Weeknd promised the disappointed crowd, who didn’t hold back on letting out their jeers, “You’ll get your money back.” But I’ll do a show real soon for you guys, he assured them.

“You know how much this kills me right now. I’m sorry. I love you so much,” Before making his final exit, the “Glass Table Girls” singer comforted the crowd one last time as fans applauded him.

Shortly later, The Weeknd posted a statement about the cancellation of the event on social media.. “My voice went out during the first song and I’m devastated,” he wrote.

“Felt it go and my heart dropped. My deepest apologies to my fans here. I promise I’ll make it up to you with a new date.”

Although it has been reported that The Weeknd’s voice sounded raspy when he addressed the crowd, it is yet unknown what specifically caused his vocal problems.

Tory Lanez Justifies His Lack Of “Embarrassment” Following Drake And The Weeknd’s Revelation

Social media users questioned Tory Lanez’s decision to make such a revelation after he disclosed that his Canadian hitmakers peers have ignored his feature requests for years. Lanez’s career hustle hasn’t stopped despite the legal drama he’s been embroiled in with Megan Thee Stallion over her accusation that he shot her back in 2020. Since the incident, he has shared a number of projects and worked with a number of other artists despite being singled out by “cancel culture.”

Lanez recently made the startling admission that he had been attempting to work with The Weeknd and Drake but had received no response to his pleas.

Many of Lanez’s supporters told him that he was better off than they were, but some of his critics questioned why he would even bring it up. When someone commented on Twitter, they said, “That’s embarrassing… like who would confess that.”

Lanez answered, “My cuz it’s not embarrassing to me I’m an incredible artist . No loss that still great [shrug emoji].”

These kinds of occasions frequently ignite the team of an artist, and soon, collaborations occur magically. Many musicians are said to have avoided Lanez because of his legal issues, although he insists that he is innocent of the charges leveled against him.

The Weeknd Threatens To Pull Out of Coachella If He Doesn't Get Paid The Same As Kanye West

The Weeknd Threatens To Pull Out of Coachella If He Doesn’t Get Paid The Same As Kanye West

The Weeknd stepped up as a last-minute replacement for Kanye West to headline Coachella, but they had to match his price.

The Weeknd reportedly threatened to pull out of Coachella if organizers did not provide him with the same bag Kanye West was expected to receive for headlining.

After Ye pulled out earlier this week, The Weekend was supposed to fill in. According to a report from Page Six, he is demanding that he be paid the same as the rapper, or he will not perform.

The Weeknd Vs Kanye’s Coachella Price

Kanye West was reportedly expected to get $8 million for his performance at the festival, plus a $500,000 production fee. Coachella had less than two weeks to find a replacement after he withdrew. If the Weeknd is to attend, he wants the organizers to match Ye’s cost.

Coachella wanted to pay the “Blinding Lights” singer far less, according to Page Six. “Just a few million,” the source stated. “The festival would pocket the rest.”

They further claim that the new lineup was made public despite the fact that a contract had not been reached. If the Ye deal wasn’t matched, The Weekend “threatened to withdraw out at an hour’s notice.” On Wednesday, negotiations were eventually finalized, and they “decided to pay The Weeknd the same amount as Ye.”

On Wednesday, The Weeknd confirmed his attendance by posting a festival brochure on his social media accounts.

The Weeknd Sets A Record With His New Diamond Single

The Weeknd Sets A Record With His New Diamond Single

The Weeknd now owns the second most Diamond singles. Credit to his two most recent certifications from the Recording Industry Association Of America(RIAA)

For his 2016 hit “Starboy” and 2020 hit “Blinding Lights,” the rapper received his 2nd and 3rd Diamond certifications from the RIAA. This isn’t surprising. “Blinding Lights” was named Billboard’s No. 1 Song of All Time in November. The result meant it surpassed all other songs on the charts.

This title was given to the outstanding single from the singer’s 2020 album “After Hours”, “A designation that factors in total weeks on the chart as well as exact chart positions, with weeks at No. 1 earning the greatest value and weeks at No.100 earning the least.” according to Billboard.

The Weeknd is now one of the most well-known artists of all time

The song (After Hours) also made history by spending an entire year in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. Also, it was the fastest single to reach 2.5 billion Spotify streams. With his current Diamond status, he is now only second behind Bruno Mars, who has four Diamond singles of his own. The Weeknd is presently tied for second with Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, and Maroon 5.

The Weeknd has a long history of chart success. He won Global Artist of the Year at the Apple Music Awards last year, and his song “Blinding Lights” set a new record for the longest charting Billboard song ever. The Weeknd now has 30 Platinum, 30 Gold, and 16 multi-Platinum hits to his credit. His previous Diamond certification came from the song “The Hills,” which he released in 2015.
