Wiz Khalifa Reveals Artists Don’t Need Labels Anymore, Says If You’re an Artist, You’re Your Own Label 🤔👻

Wiz Khalifa featured on the Drink Champs interview and discussed about new artists not needing labels anymore. 

When the Host asked him if upcoming artists still need label at this point, Wiz Khalifa replied “Held no!” Explaining further, he said “If you are an artist, you are your own label.” 

The Host added that this generation artists are building their fanbase and don’t require any label to promote them. 

Going further, the host asked why good artists who are already gaining traction still proceed to sign. Khalifa replied “There are good labels out there. They are, um that take care of their artists, that nurture their artists, that you know promote them and you know make them a priority. But that’s just a certain game that you have to play and if you don’t want to play that game you don’t have to.”
