Nicki Minaj’s Father’s Killer Pleads Guilty To Two Counts Of Murder And Faces Prison Time

Nicki Minaj’s family is on the verge of receiving justice. Robert Maraj’s killer, Charles Polevich, entered a plea, according to TMZ, more than a year after his death.

The 71-year-old admitted to leaving the scene of an incident without reporting it and tampering with physical evidence, both felonies.

Polevich was facing a maximum sentence of seven years in prison, but Judge Howard Sturim has agreed to sentence him to only one year. “No more than one year in jail, along with community service and suspension of his driver’s license.”

According to Page Six, the motorist struck Maraj on February 12th, 2021, when he was crossing a street in Mineola. Polevich stepped out of his car and asked the victim if he was okay before fleeing the scene without offering any assistance or calling the cops.

Carol Maraj, Nicki Minaj’s mother, filed a $150 million lawsuit against Polevich in Nassau County’s state Supreme Court in March of last year. Ben Crump and Paul Napoli, attorneys at the time, stated, “[Polevich] was not only irresponsible and negligent but more concerned about running away and hiding than seeking help.”

“Polevich’s behaviour was criminal, cowardly, and immoral. We will hold him responsible for his reckless actions that led to Robert Maraj’s death!”

Young Dolph’s Murder Suspect Goes Missing

Shondale Barnett, Young Dolph’s murder suspect goes missing after his release from the Indiana jail. Last November, Young Dolph was cruelly shot in Memphis, his hometown. His death added to the increasing number of murdered rappers.

In January, three suspects were charged for Dolph’s murder. One of the three suspects is reportedly missing.

Shondale Barnett was arrested on January 11 in Indiana with Justin Johnson. Ideally, Barnett ought to have been extradited to Memphis but was released from an Indiana jail about 10 days after his arrest.

Presently, Shelby County Sheriff’s Office cannot ascertain the whereabouts of Shondale Barnett.

Paul Harden, Clay County Sheriff said, “On January 11, Mr. Shundale Barnett was brought to the Clay County Jail by the Indiana State Police from an arrest on I-70.” “He was booked in the Clay County Jail on an outstanding warrant from Shelby County, Tennessee.

“We contacted Shelby County and held him on their warrant. And we were contacted on January 21 and they told us that they were no longer wanting to come and pick up Mr. Barnett and that we were to release him at that time.”

Amy Weirich, District Attorney General, didn’t give a direct answer when asked why Barnett was released. The answer was, “I can’t, because it’s a pending case. It is a pending investigation, it is a pending prosecution, and we can’t get into that at this time. When we can, we will answer all those questions that I know the public has.”

Top5

Top5 Charged For Murder in His Hometown

Top5, Toronto rapper will be facing murder charge against him in his hometown. Top5 had earlier run away from the authorities when he was accused of the murder of Hashim Omar Hashi. Hashim Omar Hashi was murdered in January 2021.

At last, the Toronto authorities have apprehended him. Top5 was initially held by the American officials before he was handed over to the Toronto police. Top5 is charged with the first-degree murder of Hashim Omar Hash.

According to the United States District Court for the Central District of California, he has been identified as “a fugitive from the Government of Canada” and endorsed an affidavit of consent to his extradition to Toronto since December 9, 2021.

According to the United States authorities, Top5 belongs to the “Go Getem Gang.” Top5’s connection with the Go Getem Gang is traced to his alleged shooting of Hashim Omar Hashi, a 20-year old, resulting in his death.

Hashim Omar Hashi was mistaken to be the target of the gang and was murdered unjustly. Ali (a.k.a Foolish) said Hashim Omar was shot mistakenly instead of the person the shooter thought killed Top’s brother.

The filing in the court says, “Ali subsequently discussed killing people in retaliation for his brother’s death on social media posts, including one less than three days before the murder.” Top5 is not suspected as the gunman but a passenger in the vehicle with the gunman.

Third Suspect Arrested For The Murder Of Young Dolph

The search for Young Dolph’s killers has made significant progress this week. As recently as yesterday, two of the suspects were arrested in Indiana and Memphis, respectively. Today, a third is in police custody.

Fox News 13 reports that Shundale Barnett was arrested today by authorities in Indiana. He is suspected of being involved in a murder. Shundale was in the passenger seat yesterday when Justin Johnson, the first suspect, was arrested.

It is clear that Barnett helped Johnson escape the Indiana police. The two are currently being held in separate prisons pending their extradition to Memphis, where Dolph was murdered.

The second suspect arrested yesterday, Cornelius Smith, has been taken into custody by the Shelby County Police Department, where the city of Memphis is located. Smith and Johnson previously hired a lawyer that helped Blac Youngsta avoid jail in 2017 when he shot Young Dolph’s car.

United States Marshals announced that Barnett would face charges of aiding first degree murder, attempted first degree murder and theft of property between $10,000 and $60,000. Stay tuned for more news.

Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith hope he can do the same for them.

Johnson and Smith, who were charged with first degree murder in Dolph’s death, hired Arthur Horne to represent them.

Arthur Horne also worked for Yo Gotti.

Youngsta and Gotti have long had issues with Young Dolph.

The two male suspects are finally arrested.

Today, U.S. marshals found 23-year-old Justin Johnson on charges of first degree murder and took him to Tennessee to face charges.

It turned out they already had Cornelius Smith. The 32-year-old man was arrested for auto theft on December 9 and has been in Desoto County Jail in Desoto, MS since then. The car in question was the white Mercedes used in the murder of Dolph and was towed from a house in Memphis a few days after Dolph’s death. Investigators say Smith and Johnson stole the car a week before it was used in Dolph’s murder.

Smith is also charged with first degree murder.
