Future Talks On His Relationship With Kanye West After Producing “Donda 2”

Future claims that he and Kanye West are much closer than the public realizes because he doesn’t post everything on social media. The executive producer of Donda 2 discussed his relationship with West during a new cover story for GQ, in which the outlet labels him the “best rapper alive.”

“Me and Kanye always had a relationship,” Future explains. “But it’s hard for people to understand, because I don’t put everything on Instagram. Kanye flew me to Paris in 2011 or 2012 to work on music. [Discussing] his clothing line before it came, his shoe business before it came. People don’t know I’ve been able to go to his house, and pull up right into the crib. We just never talked about it.”

West recently praised Future, describing him as “the most influential musician of the past ten years” on the Drink Champs podcast in 2021. When asked how he felt about the compliment, Future said it reminded him of the Paris vacation a decade ago.

Future Speaks On Why Kanye Called Him To Paris

“When he said that, I understood why he called me to Paris, even though I didn’t understand it at that time.” “I understood why we had certain conversations. I understood him being a part of ‘I Won.’ Even him having me write on certain [Kanye] albums that people don’t even understand I wrote on.”

He continues: “Sometimes not getting credit when you write with him because the love of the art is…I want it to be right. Top tier. Just being able to create and put those textures over different music, and being involved with something like that. And then later down the line in a priceless moment, him saying what he said on Drink Champs. The value of that statement. The value of the relationship as it continues to grow, the value of just treating people like they are priceless, instead of treating people like they got a dollar sign on them every time.”

Drake Adds A Major Streaming Achievement To His Resumé

Drake’s 2021 stream totals were so high that entire decades of music could not compete.

Every few months, music industry publications like Chart Research and Billboard update fans on the latest streaming statistics. The new data reveals that Drake has more slaps than The Beatles, and more slaps than all music published before to 1980 combined.

Drake’s Record Breaking Statistics

Drake had record-breaking streaming numbers in 2021, claiming that he out-streamed all music released before 1980 in all streaming platforms.

The streaming stats were first reported by Luminate, and then Billboard investigated them and confirmed that Drake produced more demand streams than pre-1980 records.

Only 0.6 percent of music released between 1950 and 1979 got accessed with demand streaming, according to Billboard’s final analysis. Drake’s 8.6 billion on-demand streams alone accounted for 0.8 percent of total streams in 2021.

Drizzy’s Grammy-nominated and chart-topping sixth studio album Certified Lover Boy was responsible for a huge part of his streaming. The album got derided upon its release, but according to Chart Data, it has sold 2,464,000 album-equivalent copies to date.

Coi Leray’s ‘Trendsetter’ Album Sells 9k In First Week, While Lil Durk Reclaims No.1 Spot

Coi Leray’s first studio album, Trendsetter, sold 9,000 album in its first week. Unfortunately, the lackluster performance was insufficient to place it among the Top 50.

Leray boasted on Twitter that her idea would top the charts: “I can guarantee my album will be #1 … just watch,” adding, “Ima have the biggest album of 2022.”

Leray’s father, ridiculed his daughter after early forecasts suggested that Trendsetter would be nowhere near the top, writing, “If she had track wit @iambenzino i woulda listened.”

While Tory Lanez expressed his displeasure with the post, Leray remained composed in her answer.

Coi Leray Reacts On Her Father’s Comment

“God has been the best father to me,” she stated. “I can’t complain about anything. My debut album is amazing and not one song can you say is bad. It been 5 days. I understand Coi Leray is so viral & works good on blogs headlines but trust me, it’s all part of the game just ride out andstayfocus.”

Despite the fact that Nicki Minaj, Yung Bleu, Fivio Foreign, Young M.A, G Herbo, H.E.R., Nav, Lil Durk, and others featured on Trendsetter, the album’s sales are modest.

Lil Durk’s 7220 has reclaimed the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

6ix9ine Slams Fivio Foreign For Not Bailing Out OMB JayDee

6ix9ine made his comeback to the music scene this week, and he’s already ruffling some feathers, particularly when it comes to Fivio Foreign. After Fivio’s latest album, B.I.B.L.E., came out. Tekashi was quick to criticize the artist’s first-week sales, saying that they were “very ordinary” for artists like Nicki Minaj and Kanye West as co-signers.

6ix9ine is on to attack again yesterday. This time, he mentioned Fivio’s former friend OMB JayDee. 6ix9ine hangs out with JayDee recently, and Tekashi called Fivio out for leaving a day behind while refusing to bail him out of jail despite having the cash to do so.

6ix9ine is still on the hunt for Fivio Foreign

“Fivio was never woo, got around Jaydee and rode the wave,” He stated. “How you leave ya day1 behind and put everyone on after big drip. You had the money to bail out Jaydee the whole time. You not official you left him there bum ass n****.”

Tekashi 6ix9ine knows how to inflict personal attacks on his subjects, and Fivio is no exception. Expect to see more rounds fired in the following days.
