Drake Honors His Mother With a Face Tattoo

Drake Honors His Mother With a Face Tattoo

One of the most well-known and recognizable musicians in the world, Drake has largely been able to keep up a certain appearance. He rarely alters his face in any way to affect how it looks, but it now appears that his approach has altered. Drake has never had a face tattoo, despite the fact that there are many rappers who do. However, that was permanently altered this week.

Drake is seen receiving a tattoo on his face, just below his eye, in the video below, which was provided by the tattoo artist NAL. Drake already has a large number of tattoos, but none are on his face. For new users, it can be an unpleasant placement, but when you consider the message it conveys, we’re sure Drake was glad to put up with the discomfort.

You can see that Drake got the initials “SG” tattooed on his cheek in his most recent Instagram image. Drake revealed that this merely refers to his mother’s name, Sandra Gale. This is not the first time Drake has inked a parent as a mark of respect. He has a tattoo of his father Dennis on his arm, but it’s been there for close to ten years now.

He made a daring decision by getting a face tattoo because it will permanently alter his appearance. Whatever the case, Drake’s meaning for the tattoo far transcends any social stigmas.

Offset Was Sued For "Auto-Negligence" After A Serious Crash Involving A Woman

Offset Was Sued For “Auto-Negligence” After A Serious Crash Involving A Woman

Offset doesn’t have much success with automobiles. Bentley filed a nearly $1 million lawsuit against Offset earlier this year regarding a stolen car. Although the case was dropped, Georgia might take it up again. His misfortune also applies to other forms of transportation. He and Cardi B recently witnessed a yacht sink in front of their very eyes.

Offset is currently involved in another car-related case. Offset has been sued by an insurance company for “auto-negligence” in an almost two-year-old vehicle collision. Silvestre Cruz Gutierrez, who was in her own car and suffered serious injuries in the collision, was struck by the Migos member while she was driving in Encino, California.

Gutierrez is insured by Mercury Insurance Company, who claim that Offset was at fault for the collision. Additionally, they asserted that the rapper was driving an uninsured 2018 Dodge Charger. Offset ran over Gutierrez and Maria Salina Lopez as they were traveling in a 2019 Honda Civic.

Mercury Insurance claims in their complaint that the insurance plan “detailed above-included collision coverage, insuring the Honda for losses caused.” The Honda was “damaged, ruined, depreciated, declined in value, and necessitated repairs and towing charges in the sum of $10,605.73,” according to their claim, and “the owners of the Honda were deprived of the use of their said car to their detriment in the sum of $1,090.27.”

Lil Tjay Seems To Have Left The Hospital

Lil Tjay Seems To Have Left The Hospital

Lil Tjay was shot in New Jersey back in June. Following emergency surgery, the Bronx rapper reportedly spent some time in a coma. As the rapper has steadily recovered, Tjay has received an outpouring of love from all corners of the hip hop community.

It appears that Lil Tjay can now officially leave the hospital. Tjay looks to be driving a car while grinning at the camera in pictures posted to social media.

Tjay was shot a little more than a month ago. It was unknown how far he was from being totally recovered, despite the fact that he appeared to be on the path to recovery. It would be a major step in the right direction if he had been able to leave the hospital.

On June 22, Lil Tjay was shot at a Chipotle in New Jersey at a nearby Exxon gas station. The shooter, 27-year-old Mohamed Konate, was swiftly captured as Tjay needed surgery. For attempted murder, armed robbery, and firearms charges, Konate was detained and charged. Jeffrey Valdez and Antoine Boyd, who were with Tjay at the time of the incident, were also hit by gunfire from Konate. Boyd was hurt as well as Tjay, who took many hits.

Some in the hip-hop scene thought about how dangerous the industry had become after the shooting. In response to the attempted murder, Jim Jones stated: “Being a rapper in today’s society is definitely the most dangerous job in the world.” He added: “We have more rappers getting killed than we have weeks in the year.”

Drake Reveals New Date For Young Money Get-Together

Following the opening of OVO Fest, things got off to a tremendous start last weekend. Drake showed up on stage for the All Canadian North Stars performance honoring the pioneers of hip-hop who made their mark on the genre. It appears like his excessive partying caught up to him, which is unfortunate. He revealed on Monday that he had tested positive for COVID-19, and that the Young Money Reunion event for OVO Fest had been postponed as a result.

“I am truly devastated to say that I tested positive for COVID and the Young Money reunion show scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled to the SOONEST date possible. I will keep the city posted and share the new date whenever we have it locked,” he stated. “Until then I hope everyone stays safe and healthy and I love you all I am so sorry for letting you down on our weekend together and the moment I test negative I will give you everything I got on stage (except the COVID).”

Fortunately, it appears that the immunization worked because the rapper tested negative a few days later. Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne will be joining him for the Young Money reunion at OVO Fest, he announced on Instagram today.

“Negative test…positive outcome…this was the only date available until the fall and because the family is so solid everybody is flying back in to make it happen for you all…SEE YOU SATURDAY…young moulaaa,” He made a statement on Instagram.

Machine Gun Kelly’s Tour Bus Was Vandalized With Homophobic Slurs

Machine gun Kelly has been touring the nation as part of his Mainstream Sellout tour. The journey has already had its ups and downs; following a performance at Madison Square Garden, MGK shattered glass in his face, forcing him to bleed severely. When she discovered that someone had passed out in the audience in Pittsburgh, Willow Smith, MGK’s opening act, was forced to interrupt her performance.

Now that Kelly is scheduled to perform in Omaha, Nebraska, some residents have not been kind to him. One of the rapper’s tour vans was defaced with homophobic graffiti as soon as it entered the country.

The red tour bus for MGK was spray-painted on both sides. The graffiti artists depicted an ejaculating penis on one side. They wrote “Rap demon f****t” over the other side. Kelly’s team claims that the bus was vandalized while it was parked on a curb in downtown Omaha.

According to TMZ, Machine Gun is touring with at least four buses, including a red, a yellow, a blue, and a green vehicle. Only the red bus appears to have been damaged.

After the tour, MGK’s punk sound will reportedly be ending. Kelly explained to Kevan Kenney of Audacy Check In that following, “I’m going to make a rap album for myself,” he stated. “For no other reason, no point to prove, no chip on my shoulder. If I keep doing things to prove things to people, I’m going to one, drive myself crazy and two, not make a good product.” He went on to claim that he didn’t regret making his rock albums, saying “I made Tickets and Mainstream Sellout because I wanted to make them… I need to now also make people miss that sound.”

Kevin Gates Defends "Super General" Lyrics About Beyoncé That Are Sexually Explicit

Kevin Gates Defends “Super General” Lyrics About Beyoncé That Are Sexually Explicit

Over the course of a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, Kevin Gates persisted in defending his explicit “Super General” freestyle. Gates raps about having sex fantasies with Beyoncé in the song, going into explicit detail.

Regarding the song, Gates clarified that he does not intend to offend Jay-Z, to whom the former member of Destiny’s Child is married.

“I’m sitting in a trap out around the monsters,” he reflected. “Just looking at TV… saying ‘Man, I swear to God.’ When I said that, everybody feel like that. They just scared of saying it. I ain’t scared to say it.”

“If somebody said that about your lady, your queen?” Turning the focus back to Gates, DJ Envy questioned.

Gates replied: “You’re supposed to. That will feel good. You supposed to fantasize about what I got. Even your dreams every night, [you know] yeah, I’m punching [expletive] her living your dreams. I don’t want nothing that don’t nobody else want.”

Gates even claims in the song’s lyrics that he doesn’t intend to be disrespectful to Jay-Z: “Ain’t no disrespect to Jigga, met through Nipsey, that’s my n***a/ Don’t know if they into swingin’, Beyoncé need to let me hit her/Make her p##s all over this d##k, respectfully, her body shiver.”

Chris Brown Refers To Boosie Badazz As A "GOAT"

Chris Brown Refers To Boosie Badazz As A “GOAT”

There is no such thing as too much discussion on the “Greatest Of All Time.” Talking about who belongs in the pantheon of hip-hop, from Ice Cube and Biggie to Jay-Z and Eminem to Kanye, Kendrick, and beyond, is always entertaining—and hotly contested. Chris Brown, a legendary R&B performer, recently declared Boosie Badazz to be the GOAT on Instagram and referred to the Louisiana legend as “the realest ever.”

Breezy’s message was concluded with a ton of smiling emojis, so perhaps he was making light of the situation or foreseeing outrage. Having said that, it’s impossible to discount the influence Boosie had earlier in his career. Lil Boosie is one of the most well-known rappers from the south today with approximately sixty albums under his belt and more than two decades of experience in the rap industry. While some admirers in the comments appear to concur with the 33-year-old singer, others express complete shock.

It should be noted that Boosie has acquired more popularity for his opinions and divisive outbursts since his release from prison in 2014 than for his musical endeavors. He has drawn criticism for the way he brought up his kids and for his remarks towards the LGBTQ+ community, such as when he recently identified the Texas school shooter from Uvalde as someone else.

Given that Chris Brown has faced criticism of his own for past acts of domestic abuse and violence, an aspect of his past that his associates and supporters are still ready to defend and forgive, perhaps Brown’s remarks come as no surprise to some.

Lil Uzi Vert Explains The Viral Video Of Them Acting Miserable During Their Birthday Party

Lil Uzi Vert turned 27 on July 31st, and while the rapper was showered with affection from friends, admirers, and girlfriend JT, a video that went viral of LUV appearing miserable at their celebration has the internet very concerned.

The Philadelphia native is seen in the viral video sitting at a table with loved ones, a cake in front of them, and a cake with enormous shining candles on top. Although most people would be grinning at such a situation, the recording artist appeared uneasy or perhaps upset.

When someone told them to “blow that shit out,” they reacted with a serious “how?” as they questioned how such a feat could even be accomplished using enormous sparklers.

Uzi apparently learned about the video’s popularity since they responded to it earlier today (August 2) on Twitter, stating, “[Every time] I have a [birthday] dinner I reflect on my past and it makes me sad.”

The Red & White artist may have had a difficult day, but that didn’t stop his City Girl companion from going above and beyond to show her other half how much she cared.

“I love you Uzi,” the “Twerkulator” rapper said in a statement on Instagram. “I’m crying making this post because you are literally a dream come true! I feel like with everything I [have] been through in life you are one of my greatest rewards! I wake up every day to either your frown or smile.”

A$AP Rocky Demonstrates His “Fashion Killa” Skills While Rocking A Leather Kilt

A$AP Rocky raised some eyebrows earlier this summer when he referred to guys wearing women’s attire as “punk” in an interview with Interview Magazine, but he is now disproving any skeptics by walking around New York City in a leather kilt.

“I feel more badass when I’m in a kilt. I feel more tough, if that makes any sense. I feel like you should wear what you want. It’s punk,” In a conversation with comedian Jerrod Carmichael earlier in June, he spoke those same words.

The 33-year-old was photographed on Tuesday, August 2, traveling through his hometown while donning a black Givenchy hoodie over a black leather kilt.

Rocky accessorized with his customary black sunglasses, a red baseball cap with a yellow and black bandana wrapped around it, and a pair of black leather clogs on his feet.

From the looks of spectator photos, the single father spent his day out taking artistic photos and videos on his iPhone. He even said hello to some lucky fans he ran into while exploring SoHo.

More of Rihanna and the rapper have been spotted together since she gave birth to the couple’s kid in May.

Prior to that, the “Shut Up And Drive” singer made her return to the world by supporting her man at Wireless Festival and Rolling Loud Portugal. Just last week, they were spotted in New York City wearing coordinated navy outfits.

Rick Ross Explains Why He Has Never Filed A Lawsuit Against A Musician

Finding reports of musicians criticizing their contracts is not difficult. Musicians frequently use public forums to voice their complaints about contracts they’re trying to break out of or to call out anyone they think are trying to do them dirty, whether it be with their label, management, or a brand. Ross claims that he has never done this and isn’t even familiar with it since, as he recently disclosed on the Beyond The Chair Podcast, he settles those conflicts one-on-one.

“You gotta realize when you a young artist, I’m sure after you become successful, whatever you look back on you’ll consider it a bad contract,” Rozay stated.

“Have I ever been taken advantage of? No,” he continued. “Have I ever been robbed? No. Have I ever had to sue someone I was in business with musically? No.” Ross never felt the need to go to court, which astonished the hosts.

“It was just the way I moved, I guess,” Ross responded. “Whoever I was in the contract with, we always had [an] open phone conversation. So, if it was anything that was a problem, I presented it and they just explained it to me. If it’s respectable, I’ma respect it because I always felt like, any contract I sign, whatever couple years it was, I could work myself out of this in no time really.”
