House Party’s Stars Says Kid Cudi is “Incredible” in New Reboot

Kid Cudi’s House Party co-stars have praised the rapper for his spotless comedic timing in addition to how seriously he took on his most recent role.

The new film’s stars, Jacob Latimore and Tosin Cole, had nothing but positive things to say about the Cleveland rapper, who plays himself in the remake of the 1990s classic, when they spoke with HipHopDX. Both actors agreed that Kid Cudi seemed a little unsure of himself as he started filming for the comedy, despite having had prior acting experiences.

“CudiKanye West Keeps Criticizing Adidas, Kid Cudi and Pete Davidson On Instagram was incredible,” said Jacob Latimore. ” We made him feel more comfortable too. It was a little nerve racking for him, but when you get those laughs after your lines you start feeling good about what you’re doing. Literally the first time we started filming we were just dying laughing.”

“He was so much fun to work with,” Tosin Cole added. “He took it so serious but he was fun to work with. He made great choices, his comic timing was impeccable. I don’t think people have seen him in this light. There was time he was doing his takes and I’d be like ‘That boy good.”

According to the plot summary for the new House Party, Latimore and Cole portray the roles of Kevin and Damon, two wannabe club promoters who are trying to find out how to make a big money to escape the repercussions of losing their jobs as house cleaners.

Future and Richey spent the afternoon in the Governor’s Square Mall in Tallahassee, Florida, where they distributed $10,000 worth of clothing and shoes, following the filming of the music video for the PH cut “Bulls eye 2.”

“If we’re going to be positive, if we’re going to make music, if we’re going to try to get everybody into a better lifestyle, everybody’s got to be willing to change,” Richey told the Tallahassee Democrat. “If not, you got to watch from the bleachers until your mind is made up.”

Keith Murray Requests Doddy to Give Him His Publication "It's For My Kids"

Keith Murray Requests Doddy to Give Him His Publication “It’s For My Kids”

Keith Murray has asked that Diddy give him the publishing rights.

Murray recalled the occasion when he was asked to appear on G. Dep’s 2001 song “Special Delivery (Remix)” in one of the most recent segments of his interview with The Art of Dialogue. The Def Squad rapper acknowledged that at the time, all he saw was the $5,000 cheque Puff allegedly gave him in exchange for the rights to his verse and that he knew nothing about publishing.

They call me, ‘Yo, Murray come to the studio and do the song.’ I wrote my shit first, and the Trackmasters did the beat, and then Harve [Pierre] come, ‘Yo, Puffy wants to buy the publishing.’ Back then, I didn’t know about buying publishing. N-gga gave me $5,000 for publishing, I took the check and went and bought a Rolex from the Diamond District.”

He continued: “The song was a single, then there was a video, then it was popping. Now that shit come on, ‘Yo! This for my n-ggas dem special delivery / Bang ya head off to this, fuckin’ up your memory.’ To this day!”

Keith Murray praised Erick Sermon for having a different perspective on dealing with musicians when it came to the economic side of things, despite being duped by Puffy into foolishly giving up his publishing rights.

“Erick Sermon was like, ‘Yo, you’re publishing is important.’ He gave me and Redman our publishing,” he said. “He never messed with our intellectual property for monetary gain. That’s one of the things the boss always gave us and showed us.”

Murray went on to say that he needed Diddy to give him back his publishing rights so he could place it in his kids’ names and let them benefit in the long run.

“Yo Puff, I want my publishing to put it in Madison and Dolly’s name. My kids Madison and Milan because Dolly don’t need it,” he demanded. “Puff, sign this paperwork. I want my publishing Puff. Puff, it’s my publishing and I want it now! It’s my money and I want it now!”

praised Drake for the masterful performance he gave on Charlie Sloth’s “Fire in the Booth series.”

The Oakland native praised Drizzy’s raw freestyle in an interview with HipHopDX, noting that it was the first episode of Charlie Sloth’s acclaimed series he had ever seen.

“Yeah, I think that Drake freestyle was cold,” he said. “It’s definitely different but I think it was still raw and dope in a sense because that was the first time I heard of Fire in the Booth, when I seen Drake on there …

He added: “I just liked how Drake went up there and just got in his London bag. He just started poppin’ it.”

Royce Da 5’9′′, Freddie Gibbs, Black Though, and other artists received roses as Symba continued to list his other favorite freestyles.

Royce on Hot 97, Royce on L.A. Leakers, King Los’ L.A. Leakers, Freddie Gibbs’ L.A. Leakers, Benny The Butcher’s L.A. Leakers, Black Thought Hot 97 with Funk Flex, DaBaby’s L.A. Symba stated that he watches as many freestyles from his fellow rappers as he can to get ideas and expand his rap vocabulary.

“I watch everyone. That’s what makes mine stand out,” he admitted. “Because anytime I go up to a platform I watch every single one. I watch they demeanor, what they was talking about and I try to find something nobody ever said and hasn’t been done. I always try to find that angle of what’s not been said and then I go in there and say it.”

In terms of his musical output, Symba released his Results Take Time album in September, hosted by DJ Drama. He performed his freestyle skills on a number of shows, including Sway’s Universe, Funk Flex on Hot 97, and a few others to support the project.

Wiz Khalifa Criticizes Former Marijuana Users Who Claim Their Lives Has Changed as a Result of Quitting

Whiz Khalifa isn’t here to lecture folks who claim their lives are more better after they quit smoking.

On Wednesday, the Taylor Gang rapper posted the PSA on his Instagram Story (January 11). While he’s open to the idea that quitting can be life-changing, he won’t hear it from anyone unless they’ve been off the herb for at least a decade.

Check this out: “if you smoked weed for the majority of your life and you just stopped smoking weed, don’t try to convince everybody that your life has changed so much just ‘cause you quit smoking weed, dog,” Wiz began. “That shit – it don’t happen that fast. Tap in about 15 years when the effects really kick in. A year, a couple days, a few months… That ain’t long enough to see no progress, fam. Straight up.”

“And if you wasn’t getting shit done off of weed, it’s probably just ‘cause you don’t know how to get shit done,” he he continued. “Some people eat too much and they get fat. You gotta know how to moderate that shit. So if you been smoking 10-15 years, tap in 15 years later if you not smoking weed and then make a fucking video.”

And it’s not just recent weed-quitters who Wiz Khalifa doesn’t have mercy for. He also takes no prisoners on the basketball court – even when his opponent happens to be his own kid.

In a recent viral video, Wiz is seen playing basketball with his son Sebastian and his friend Shawn, and he dominates the game with ease – replete with smack language.

During the 1-on-2 pickup game, Wiz is heard taunting the kids saying, “Got ’em” and “Ya’ll don’t want none.”

In the caption of video, Wiz wrote: “No I aint taking easy on them. Kids be talking shit.”

“That was probably the darkest time of my life,” he said. “I was homeless, pretty much. I had dropped out of school. I didn’t know if I was going to succeed as a musician. I didn’t know if I was going to be able to live to see tomorrow.

“And I remember I somehow got to see the film in theaters. I don’t know how I got in. It was such an escape from my real life that the film is tattooed in my brain.”
