J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival To Return In Spring 2023
Dreamville Festival to Raleigh, North Carolina, on April 1 and 2, 2023, was confirmed by J. Cole and his Dreamville crew on Wednesday.
After a three-year break, the festival returned this year and will once more fill Raleigh’s Dorothea Dix Park with musical performances by Cole’s favorite musicians and collaborators. 80,000 people from all over the world attended the event in the spring, which featured a wide range of activities, regional merchants, food trucks, and artists from the broader Triangle area. Notably, the event this year had a positive economic impact on Raleigh and Wake County over USD 6.7 million.
“Dreamville Festival wants to keep growing and building off the success of the expanded two-day event this year. Our team is excited to reunite with our Dreamville family from around the world next spring,” said Dreamville Festival President Adam Roy in a statement. “Day ones, JID fans, Ari fans, music fans, everyone is welcome. Consider this your personal invite. Come through, you won’t want to miss Dreamville 2023.”
The “No Role Modelz” rapper’s Dreamville Festival made its premiere in 2018 with a roster that included SZA, Big Sean, Young Thug, and numerous more renowned performers. The festival’s debut edition did not take place until April of the following year because Hurricane Florence forced the cancellation of the opening event. The third iteration of the Dreamville Festival will take place in 2023 because the COVID epidemic also forced the cancellation of the festival’s 2020 edition.
