Kanye West (44) has officially changed his name to Ye, reports ‘TMZ’. A judge has approved the rapper’s name change, according to documents in the hands of the American entertainment site.

The artist, who recently divorced Kim Kardashian West, now has no names other than Ye. He also has no last name. Ye has been a nickname of the world famous rapper for years, known for hits such as ‘Stronger’ and ‘Flashing Lights’.

It is striking that his ex-wife still keeps his old last name. According to insiders from TMZ , the reality star has no plans to change that because of the names of their four children, who all have West as their last name.
