Kim Kardashian West (40) wasn’t afraid to joke about her own family when she debuted as a guest host of the American sketch show ‘Saturday Night Live’. The television personality mocked, among other things, her ex-husband Kanye West (44), her mother’s boyfriend Kris Jenner (65) and her sisters.
“When I filed for divorce, it was really about his personality”
“You can’t accuse me of being after money. Frankly, I have no idea how to become a gold digger,” says the star in her monologue, which all guest hosts have to give at the start of the show. “So I just asked my mom’s boyfriend, Corey.”
Kanye West, Kim’s ex-husband, also has to believe it. “I married the greatest rapper of all time. He is the richest black man in America and has given me four fantastic children,” says Kim, who says she is very blessed with her life. At the beginning of this year it was announced that the two were separating after six years of marriage. “When I filed for divorce, it was really about his personality.”
Kim also makes a joke about her sisters’ bodies, which she says have started to resemble her shapes more in recent years. “I’m more than just a fantastic body that my sisters showed as an example to their plastic surgeons,” says the reality star, who then announces that she is therefore running for president of the United States. “Just kidding, we can’t have three failed politicians in one family,” Kim says, referring to Caitlyn Jenner’s govt and Kanye’s presidential campaign.
Kim also did not stay away from self-mockery. For example, she briefly returned to her leaked sex tape, which went around for the first time in 2007.
