The Game Confirms A 30-Song “Drillmatic” Tracklist
The Game’s next studio album, Drillmatic, will be out in just a few weeks. Though he previously stated that Born 2 Rap would be his final album, the rapper has been hard at work with Hit-Boy, who acts as executive producer on the upcoming record.
The Game has been progressively releasing more details about the album, but he has yet to provide any details about the features or tracklist. On Tuesday night, the rapper posted some flashback images of himself and his son from the Documentary period to Instagram. The project will be split into two halves, Mind and Heart, according to the last slide of the post.
Following the release of Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, The Game sent roses to all of the rappers who have released albums this year, but claimed that his next project would be his best yet.
“I know my album gone be the best album of 2022 cause the energy feels like I just signed my deal. You’ve never heard me rap like this, I promise you,” he said. “When it drops, I promise you that if you put your ear to it you will then understand why I’m the best rapper alive. My controversy has always stepped on my greatness, but that’s all about to change. This album has a strong hold on being the best album of my career.”
On June 17th, The Game will release Drillmatic-Mind Vs. Heart.
