Fivio Foreign Gets Flowers From Nicki Minaj For “B.I.B.L.E”

Fivio Foreign’s long-awaited album B.I.B.L.E was released this past Friday (April 8). The album has received positive reviews  particularly from Nicki Minaj. Nicki posted a photo of herself giving Fivio flowers on her Instagram story, complimenting him on his debut album.

“This fivio foreign album rlly hittin the mthafkn spot. Sooooo SOLID. Sonically authentic & well thought out. Cohesive body of work with a signature sound that is very true to where he’s from,” Nicki added to her story. “Kayccy is on both of his osngs. chloe bodied her verse. Loved coi too @fivioforeign_8fs,” she stated. 

Fivio Foreign’s B.I.B.L.E

Fivio’s first full-length release since his blockbuster hit “Big Drip” two years ago is B.I.B.L.E. Quavo, A$AP Rocky, Lil Yachty, Polo G, Vory, KayCyy, Kanye West, Ne-Yo, and others make appearances on the 17-track album. The album also includes the single “City of Gods,” which features Alicia Keys and Ye and was previously released on Ye’s Donda 2.

Last week, the New York drill rapper stated that the lyrics to his song “What’s My Name” caused him problems in getting it cleared by Beyonce. The single, which features Queen Naija and Coi Leray, samples Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name” from 1999. Beyonce would only clear the song if Fivio cleaned up the lyrics, according to Fivio.

Chris Rock isn’t eager to discuss the Will Smith slap incident at the 2022 Oscars. Smith stepped casually onto the Academy Prize stage as Rock was about to deliver the Best Documentary award, slapping Rock with an open palm after Rock made a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith’s, bald head.

Since then, the Academy’s Board of Governors has barred Smith from attending the event for the next ten years. He will preserve his Best Actor Oscar for his part in King Richard, and he can still be nominated in the next ten years. Smith has also expressed regret and says he accepts the punishment. 

He also indicated that he will be resigning from the Academy ahead of the decision. Rock, on the other hand, has stated that he will remain silent until the money is received.

Chris Rock Says He Won’t Speak About Will Smith’s Slap Until He’s “Paid.”

According to TMZ, on Friday, April 9, Rock told a live audience that he would not discuss the Oscars unless he was paid financially. It’s safe to presume he’s referring to a paid interview or perhaps a paid comedy special. According to TMZ, the information came from a piece in the Palm Springs Desert Sun, which covered Rock’s set in Indio, California, as well as his ongoing national comedy tour amid the scandal.

According to reports, Rock stated “I’m OK, I have a whole show, and I’m not talking about that until I get paid. Life is good. I got my hearing back.” 

Will Smith Apologized

Smith apologized during his award speech, but he exempted Rock. “I wanna apologize to the Academy, I wanna apologize to all my fellow nominees,” he said. “This is a beautiful moment. And I’m not crying for winning an award—it’s not about winning an award for me.”

He then issued an official apology, stating that Rock’s joke was a “trigger” because his wife suffers from a medical ailment that causes her to lose her hair. Smith admits to being a work in progress and expresses regret for his acts. “There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness,” he added. Rock reportedly declined to press criminal charges against Smith.

Jay-Z and Jack White appear to be two musicians with little musical overlap. The Hov rose to prominence as one of New York’s most recognizable rappers, while White headed the popular rock band The White Stripes for years. However, you might be surprised to learn that the two collaborated on songs in the past, and you might hear some of them soon.

White spoke with Zane Lowe for an Apple Music interview in April 2022 about his music and other topics. When Lowe asked him to clarify a notion that he and Jay-Z had “heat” in the vault, White was direct.

“That’s true, but it’s not me who doesn’t finish stuff. So it’s, uh…I’m not that guy. No, I’m just teasing,” he said honestly. “But I’m more the personality, like, ‘I’ll be there tomorrow,’ you know. So it’s different working styles.”

Jack White wants to release some of their tracks as a duo.

White went on to detail his time in the studio with Hov and his distinct recording approach. “It’s so different, you know, because when I went into the studio with him, there was just one microphone which is, I kind of was [like], ‘Whoa, what? Where are the other microphones?’” he said.

“So Jay was learning about the way I did it and I was learning about the way he did it,” he continuey. “I just like seeing anybody use a method. If you see anyone using any method, it’s really, really interesting.”

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have rekindled their romance. The “Dear Ben” singer announced the good news via her OnTheJLo email on April 8th. She made the announcement when she showed off her magnificent green engagement ring. The ring is said to be worth $5 million. 

Jennifer, 52, isn’t the first celebrity to wear a colored engagement ring. Ben famously gave her a pink one in 2002, and Marc Anthony proposed to her with a blue one but green is the rarest of them all (and Jennifer’s favorite color).

The Rare Green Diamond

Green diamonds are extremely rare since they must be exposed to uranium in order to achieve their distinctive color: “[The stone] has to be irradiated by beta or gamma waves for long enough to turn the stone green for long enough to turn the stone green. The color is from irradiation and it’s incredibly rare,” Amanda Smith shares her thoughts. She says that this is in addition to the diamond growing in size while still meeting the criteria of being a gem quality diamond with no obvious imperfections.

Jennifer loves the color green and has worn it on numerous occasions. She wore it at the GRAMMYs in 2000 with the jungle print Versace gown. “I’ve always considered green to be my lucky color. Perhaps you recall a certain green frock,” she wrote in her OnTheJLo email a month ago. “I’ve realized there are many moments in my life where amazing things happened when I was wearing green,” she explained. Ben appeared to be paying attentively.

The ring is also around 4-carats, according to Jenny Luker, head of Platinum Guild International USA, and is valued at around $5 million. Jennifer’s ring seems to be a natural green diamond of roughly 4-carats set with side white diamonds on a platinum band, according to her statement. “Since the setting is platinum, she can pass along her engagement ring to her children, as platinum maintains its color and shape!” she added, noting once again that green diamonds are “very rare.”

Pusha T on Thursday spoke on an edition of Desus & Mero to promote his latest album, It’s Almost Dry, and to discuss his collaboration with mogul/rapper Jay-Z. Desus, though, addressed Pusha about his lyrical spat with Toronto superstar Drake and what prompted him to move on approximately six minutes into the conversation.

“You know what it is? I don’t like the energy of mentioning my son in that type of energy — or any kid in that type of energy,” he says referencing his first-born son, Nigel. “ It’s not my thing right now. I got my son! And it’s like, with me, I’m just not going to play about anything involving him. Like, I don’t play nothing. So it’s like, ‘You know what? I’ll just [leave it alone].’”

Pusha T and Drake’s Feud

The irony of this turn is noteworthy because Pusha T was the one who sparked their feud when he claimed Drake was hiding a child on “The Story of Adidon” in 2018. However, Pusha T and his wife welcomed their first child, Nigel Brixton, in June of 2020, giving him a new perspective on the verbal sparring.

“It’s selflessness,” he added. “And I’m very selfish, I’m a super selfish person; with my son, I have totally taken myself [out of it]. It’s all him first.”

Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Pusha T’s fourth studio album, It’s Almost Dry. On Twitter, the Bronx rapper also announced forthcoming tour dates.

Jussie Smollett chastised cops and prosecutors in a song published Friday and declared his innocence. Three weeks after he was released from a Chicago jail, Jussie Smollett has released a new song. 

Smollett was accused of paying two men to dress up homophobic and racism claims. He has released a nearly six-minute gospel-influenced R&B song called “Thank You God…” on streaming sites.

Following a choir’s rendition of “thank you God for revealing my enemies,” Jussie Smollett delivers a spoken-word verse. In the verse, he criticized the press and law enforcement for allegedly wrongly accusing him of the 2019 hoax.

“It’s like they’re hell-bent on not solving the crime / Taking out the elements of race and trans and homophobia that’s straight taking lives / But turn around and act like I’m the one that killed the strides,” the black and gay actor steadily raps over a sparse beat.

Profits From Smollett’s Song Will Be Donated 

Any revenues from Smollet’s musical proclamation of innocence will be donated to the Rainbow Push Coalition, STB Safety, and the Illinois Innocence Project, according to the artist’s Instagram, which is presently maintained by his family, according to the bio.

On Spotify early Saturday morning, the sob song had fewer than 5,000 listens.

Smollett is currently free on $150,000 bond, and his lawyers claim that his trial was “unconstitutional” because Chicago officials dropped all charges against him before a special prosecutor took over the case in the wake of significant outcry from politicians.

Will Smith on Friday was barred from attending the Oscars or any other academy event for 10 years. The motion picture academy expressed their decision after Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Academy Awards.

Following a meeting of the academy’s Board of Governors to discuss a response to Smith’s activities, the decision was made.

Smith’s actions were described as “unacceptable and harmful” said the academy in a statement.

During the week leading up to the meeting, the actor resigned from the academy . He said he would accept any punishment the academy imposed.

“I accept and respect the Academy’s decision,” Smith made the announcement in a statement.

Smith was allowed to stay and accept his best actor prize after the academy apologized for its handling of the event.

“During our telecast, we did not adequately address the situation in the room. For this, we are sorry,” the academy said. “This was an opportunity for us to set an example for our guests, viewers and our Academy family around the world, and we fell short — unprepared for the unprecedented.”

Bleu then counted ten $100,000 cash stacks. As he contemplated his journey while staring at the money in the luggage, the Moon Boy star had an emotional moment. After winning a bet against YK Osiris last month, Bleu has even more money in his bank.

After defeating Osiris in a pick-up basketball game, Yung Bleu snatched $10,000 from him. Fans can see the Moon Boy telling the “Worth It” singer to hand over the ten bands in cash after the game in the video shared on Instagram.
