Nicki Minaj Flaunts A Cheeky Cinderella Costume For Halloween

Nicki Minaj has never been afraid to dress up for Halloween, and now that she has a family of her own, she has elevated the practice.

Queen Nicki used social media to debut her Cinderella (also known as Chunderalla) costume. The sparkling baby blue couture dress highlighted her curves and left no room for speculation over the rap icon’s well-known posterior.

She posted a picture from her Halloween photo shoot on Monday with the comment, “Happy Halloween from Cinderella aka Chunderella” (October 31).

Over the weekend, Nicki dressed up again with the family, this time dressing as the beloved Honey, I Shrunk the Kids movie.

Instead, the Young Money legend renamed the movie Honey, I Blew Up Papa Bear and added images of her son, who is two, that had been Photoshopped to make him appear enormous in relation to Nicki and her husband Kenneth Petty.

Her message read, “HONEY, I BLEW UP #PapaBear Starring #PapaBear & a couple of other odd ppl.” On display this Halloween!

Nicki Minaj has had a busy month. She just finished an electrifying headline set at Power 105.1’s Powerhouse on Saturday (October 29) at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

The Queens native has worn several notable Halloween costumes in the past, including the couple’s ensemble they wore in 2019 while Petty dressed as The Joker and Nicki impersonated Harley Quinn.

Five Facts About Nicky Minaj’s New Husband, Kenneth Petty

The 36-year-old rapper took to Instagram on Monday to announce her marriage to 41-year-old fellow music industry professional Kenneth  “Zoo” Petty.

After less than a year of dating, the couple is said to have obtained a marriage license at a Beverly Hills courthouse at the end of July, according to E!

In December 2018, Minaj made her relationship with Petty public. She frequently referred to him as the “Ken to her Barbie.”

He Met Nicky Minaj When She Was 16

TMZ claims that the couple has been together since Minaj was in high school. Petty first met Minaj when she was 16 and was still residing in Queens. People pointed out that in her verse on Chance the Rapper’s song “Zanies and Fools,” Minaj had also discussed the couple’s shared past.

He Is A Sexual Offender On Record

Petty has been charged in the state of New York as a level two registered sex offender. According to Us Weekly, he was sentenced to almost four years in prison after being found guilty of attempted rape in 1995.

He Has Even More Problems With The Law

Petty entered a guilty plea to a first-degree manslaughter charge related to a shooting death in 2002. He was given a 10-year prison term, but he was released in 2013. Petty admitted to operating a vehicle while his license was suspended, according to TMZ, which published the news in March. In September 2018, he allegedly ran a stop sign on Long Island before being stopped by a police officer. The website claims that Petty was fined $88 for the incident. According to Media Take Out, who called the recently wed “a TOP LEVEL Queens, NY street ‘OG’,” Petty has a total of 12 mugshots on file with the various New York police departments.

He Has Five Children

“Media Take Out” claims that Petty is actively involved in his children’s lives, whereas Bossip has reported that he is the father of five children.

The Couple Might Have More Kids In The Future

The “Barbie Dreams” rapper announced in September that she was quitting music to devote more time to her family on Twitter. She expressed regret and wrote that her love for her fans is “still madly in love” with her.

Nicki Minaj had a firm hold on the summer of ’22. The Queen rapper has released a steady stream of music since the beginning of the year to make up for the nearly two-year absence. Although “Super Freaky Girl” helped her reach the top of the charts, she continues to release new music.

Nicki put an end to the summer with a remix of Skeng’s “Likkle Miss,” and a dancehall smash for the upbeat tune, she draws on her Caribbean heritage.

On Sunday night, the two revealed the song’s official music video. The colorful celebration is amplified by Nicki Minaj and Skeng’s use of exotic whips and baddies. The song’s mood is perfectly captured with the appropriate graphics.

Skeng has dominated the dancehall industry, since the release of his breakout singles “Gvnman Shift” and “London.” This time around, collaborating with Minaj sounds like a match made in heaven because Minaj is known for patois-barring tracks on top dancehall hits like Skillibeng’s “Crocodile Teeth (Remix)”

The Barbie said she was composing her verse for the collaboration last month while sharing a video of herself listening to Skeng’s track. “Likkle Miss (Remix)” first emerged.

Nicky Minaj has inspired a course that the University of California, Berkeley will offer next year.

Nicki Minaj: The Black Barbie Femmecee & Hip Hop Feminisms” is the name of the African American studies course that will be taught at the prestigious university in the spring of 2023. The 90-minute lectures, which will be taught by professor Peace and Love B El Henson, will take place twice weekly from January through May 2023, per the Berkeley course catalog.

The course will examine Minaj “in the context of broader historical-social structures & hip hop feminisms,” according to El Henson, a postdoctoral fellow at Berkeley’s African Diaspora Studies Program.

The Barbz were also acknowledged for their assistance. Words just cannot express how grateful she is for everyone’s support and how excited she is. I am really inspired, and I can’t wait to provide more information once it is all set.

Even the Queen of Rap herself might visit students enrolled in the workshop. After learning about it, Nicki tweeted, “I’d love to drop by.”

She also retweeted a fan who posted a humorous video of Minaj quoting “Boss Ass Bitch (Remix)” lyrics while “explaining the class rules.”

The “Fine Nine Remix” of Minaj’s song “Likkle Miss,” which features eight of dancehall’s leading ladies, including Spice, was released earlier this week.

Nicki Minaj’s comeback has been legendary. The head Barbie released all-new music in 2022, broke records, and even won this year’s MTV Video Music Awards’ prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. It goes without saying that the Queen is here to stay, and her supporters adore her in every way. On Wednesday, September 7, Minaj teased the remix of her number-one hit “Super Freaky Girl” on Instagram.

“#QueenMix coming to collect her things,” she wrote. “Soon come.” She was silent on who is set to feature on the track, though, fans dived  into the comments box to share their opinions on which artists it could be. “I’m thinking all females,” a fan commented. Another one added, “The girls who congratulated her I remember she told then to check their dms.”

The “Super Freaky Girl” singer Nicki, who was inspired by the late Rick James, whose 1981 track “Super Freak” was sampled on her most recent single, launched her “Super Freaky Girl” alter ego Nick James just days before to the QueenMix revelation. She wrote, “BE ON the LOOK OUT when I come through #BOLO #NickJames,” alongside a snapshot of herself dressed in a Rick James-inspired outfit that she shared with her 201 million followers.

There are no immediate plans to slow down the “Super Freaky Girl” train. Nicki released the music video for her popular song last week, and it has already received 6.7 million views. When she posted a behind-the-scenes peek from the “SFG” video on Instagram, she stated, “The Barbz asked for a raw and uncut moment in this dress chi.” “The Super Freaky Girl video is now available. Drake Reveals New Date For Young Money Get-Together

Following the opening of OVO Fest, things got off to a tremendous start last weekend. Drake showed up on stage for the All Canadian North Stars performance honoring the pioneers of hip-hop who made their mark on the genre. It appears like his excessive partying caught up to him, which is unfortunate. He revealed on Monday that he had tested positive for COVID-19, and that the Young Money Reunion event for OVO Fest had been postponed as a result.

“I am truly devastated to say that I tested positive for COVID and the Young Money reunion show scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled to the SOONEST date possible. I will keep the city posted and share the new date whenever we have it locked,” he stated. “Until then I hope everyone stays safe and healthy and I love you all I am so sorry for letting you down on our weekend together and the moment I test negative I will give you everything I got on stage (except the COVID).”

Fortunately, it appears that the immunization worked because the rapper tested negative a few days later. Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne will be joining him for the Young Money reunion at OVO Fest, he announced on Instagram today.

“Negative test…positive outcome…this was the only date available until the fall and because the family is so solid everybody is flying back in to make it happen for you all…SEE YOU SATURDAY…young moulaaa,” He made a statement on Instagram.

Nicki Minaj Appears To Criticize Kanye West During Her Performance At The Essence Festival

Nicki Minaj abruptly ended her “Monster” performance at the Essence Festival on Friday, saying she doesn’t “fuck with clowns.” Numerous fans consider Minaj’s guest verse on the Kanye West song to be her greatest.

She performed a number of her biggest songs, including “Do We Have A Problem,” “We Go Up,” “Did It On ’em,” and “Beez in the Trap,” until her DJ started playing “Monster” and Minaj abruptly stopped it.

“A monster though!” Minaj started. “A monster though! But we don’t fuck with clowns.”

She then presented Lil Wayne and Birdman as her special guests for the set, along with Cash Money Records co-founder Birdman. They gave the act “#1 Stunna, “Seeing Green, High School, Truffle Butter, and A Milli are few examples.

It’s unclear what caused the relationship between the two musicians to deteriorate, if Minaj’s remarks were meant as an insult. Online haters speculated that West’s recent duet with Cardi B on “Hot Shit” was perhaps the reason.

After Minaj’s Performance, West Has Not Yet Commented

2010 saw the debut of “Monster,” which was a tune on Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, his fifth studio album. The song also includes Jay-Z, Rick Ross, and Bon Iver in addition to Minaj.

On Sunday, Summer Walker, The Roots and Friends, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, and other artists are expected to perform at the Essence Festival’s continuing stage.
