Drake And Black Coffee Jam Out To “Honestly, Nevermind” In Ibiza

Many fans were happy to see that Black Coffee was one of the album’s executive producers when the full production credits for Drake’s seventh studio album, Honestly, Nevermind, were made public following the album’s release.

Black Coffee, a Grammy-winning South African DJ and producer, most recently contributed to the creation of three Honestly, Nevermind songs, including “Texts Go Green,” “Currents,” and “Overdrive.” Black Coffee and Drake previously collaborated on the More Life standout track “Get It Together” back in 2017. Black Coffee gave his Canadian collaborator some major love during a recent DJ set in Ibiza, about a month after the album’s release. It turns out that Drizzy was actually present and able to take it all in.

According to HipHopDX, on Saturday (July 16) night, Drake arrived at Black Coffee’s performance at the Hï Ibiza nightclub. After spending some time in the audience, the OVO head honcho entered the stage to join the Subconsciously artist in celebrating the occasion.

Due to the sheer shock of seeing Drake at the venue, the crowd initially didn’t move at all, but as the “Jimmy Cooks” rapper entered the venue, the energy seemed to have returned as the throng began to dance to Black Coffee’s “Massive.”

Drake’s Team Reacts To Rumors Of Rapper’s Arrest In Sweden

Nowadays, rumors may spread quickly, particularly if you’re the biggest musician in the world. Drake’s private jet was observed landing in Sweden earlier this week, but many fans were unsure of his purpose for visiting the Nordic nation. According to claims that circulated on social media last night, Drizzy and his group were detained in Sweden on marijuana-related charges. Thankfully, that isn’t the case.

The rapper was not detained by the authorities, according to journalist Philip Lewis. Drake’s representative released a formal denial when Lewis had confirmation from Swedish police that the rapper was not under their care. The team released a statement saying, “Drake is at his hotel and has not been arrested.”

Drizzy was the target of numerous Internet memes before his team responded to the allegations, sparking the brief #FreeDrake movement. Fans were really worried that, if the arrest allegations were accurate, Drake may wind up receiving an unfair punishment like A$AP Rocky was arrested in Sweden in 2019.

Fortunately, Drake has cleaned up so he can go about controlling the summer. The rapper, who recently released his new album Honestly, Nevermind, just revealed that OVO Fest, this year’s name for October World Weekend, will return. Drizzy is bringing back OVO Fest and hosting Chris Brown and Lil Baby’s tour stop in the 6ix in addition to a Young Money reunion with Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj.

These days, stories fly like wildfire, and as of right now, the internet is ablaze with rumors concerning Drake. It is natural that people will tales about your life when you are one of the most well-known people in the world. Drake is used to having his name associated with fabricated stories and rumors concocted by his admirers, but this most recent rumor seems to have ignited the internet despite the lack of supporting evidence.

Someone started a myth about Drake and his crew being detained in Sweden after being reportedly found with marijuana on Instagram.

The information quickly spread to Twitter, and although Drake’s team has not acknowledged or disputed the rumors, people started posting and making jokes about the unproven occurrence.

Let’s not forget that A$AP Rocky was detained in this nation in 2019 on suspicion of assault. Because of the previous president’s assistance in Rocky’s release, Drake’s fans have added a few Donald Trump memes as a result. It would have been interesting to see how Justin Trudeau, the Canadian prime minister, handled the situation if it had been real.

Some speculate that the origin of this idea can be traced back to the Brittney Griner case, in which the WNBA player was arrested and imprisoned in Russia for months after being caught in possession of marijuana while passing through an airport.

Drake And Lil Baby Perform At Michael Rubin’s 4th of July Party

The hip-hop combination of Drake and Lil Baby has quickly risen to the top. You can always count on a smash when these two collaborate on a single, so at this point, they ought to record an album as a team. Although a project of this nature isn’t currently in the works, Baby is still in the studio working on a solo album, and we can be certain that Drake will be involved in some way.

But more recently, the two met at Michael Rubin’s sizable Fourth of July celebration. Rubin still invited Sixers stars like Joel Embiid and James Harden to the celebration despite the fact that he is in the process of selling his interests in the Philadelphia 76ers. Naturally, Drake and Lil Baby performed some songs there, and it was a ton of fun for everyone involved.

Baby and Drake are performing in the center of the audience as shown in the DJ Akademiks video. Each everyone attending this event wore white, and the two artists made a point of adhering to the theme. People started singing along to the lyrics, dancing, and applauding the performance as the audience was enthralled by every second of it. Fake Drake Was Banned From Instagram For Impersonating Real Drake

Izzy Drake might be experiencing the end of an era. Champagne Papi’s impersonator has been acting more and more brazenly lately, but according to DJ Akademiks, it appears that his antics may have caused Instagram to ban him.

The podcast’s host published a report on Saturday (July 2) that said that “Fake Drake was banned from Instagram for impersonating Drake!”

Fans and friends flocked to the comments section to enjoy the thrill. Druski wrote, “Hallelujah.” “THANK YOU GOD HE GET UNDER MY SKIN,” Fatboy added. “SUPER CORNY. I GET THE HUSTLE BUT HE DOING TOO MUCH.”

Izzy Drake just challenged the Scorpion rapper to a celebrity boxing battle on August 27th, in case you missed it. “If I win, you gotta sign me to OVO and you gotta give me a million dollars. If you win, I’ll change my name,” he stated.

Since Izzy shared that article, the doppelganger’s Instagram page has actually been deleted, and several new ones have appeared in its place. However, it is still unknown whether Izzy is actually in charge of any of them.

Drake and the imitator spoke on FaceTime last month, but it appears that even he has become tired of the shenanigans because he double-tapped a clip of Izzy being ejected from Houston’s Area 29 nightclub.

Drake And The Backstreet Boys Perform “I Want It That Way”

Drake seems to be getting further away from rapping. He shocked his audience last month by releasing the dance album Honestly, Nevermind, a significant departure from his hip-hop heritage. To put it mildly, the reviews have been inconsistent. While some have praised Drizzy’s new path, others have not.

Drake totally embraced feel-good pop on Friday. The Backstreet Boys’ main set on Toronto’s Budweiser Stage was closed out by the rapper’s appearance. As they sang their timeless song “I Want It That Way,” he served as an honorary “sixth member” of the band.

Drake expressed his gratitude to the crowd for including him in the performance. “At 13 years old, I had a bar mitzvah, and at my bar mitzvah, for the first time in my life, this girl I was in love with came up to me and one of the greatest songs in the world was playing,” he stated. “She asked me if I would dance with her, and it was the first time I ever felt acknowledged, and it was the first time I ever felt like I had a shot at being cool.” The song in question? “I Want It That Way.”

Therefore, Drake’s appearance with the Backstreet Boys during their rendition of “one of the greatest songs of all time,” as the Toronto rapper expressed it. “If she can see me now,” Drake said. During the performance, he mixed in his own song, “Hold On, We’re Going Home.”

Drake Bets $1 million That Israel Adesanya Will Win This Weekend’s UFC 276 Fight

After his seventh studio album, Honestly, Nevermind, debuted at No. 1, Drake is feeling optimistic. He is so sure, in fact, that he placed an extremely large wager on tonight’s UFC 276 battle.

Drizzy disclosed on his Instagram page on Friday night that he expects Israel Adesanya to triumph over Jared Cannonier. The athlete and the Canadian rapper were speaking on FaceTime when the rapper casually brought up the “light million” bet he had made on his pal, which put pressure on the 32-year-old.

The father of one also expressed his “deep deep respect” for Adesanya before asking to be chosen to accompany the fighter to his Saturday night fight, which he gladly accepted.

“One of the most inspiring guys to me…” Drake added captions to the video of the memorable occasion. “The Death Note author himself, and my partner with @stake @stylebender BIG FIGHT TMRW… got a million on it [shrug emoji].”

It’s not unusual for Champagne Papi to spend a million dollars on a sporting event. If you think back to this year’s Super Bowl, you might recall stories about the Toronto native placing seven-figure bets on the Los Angeles Rams winning (an obviously successful wager), and he even staked $200,000 on the Golden State Warriors winning the Western Conference Final—another successful wager.

The middleweights Sean Strickland and Alex Pereira, as well as the featherweights Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway, are also scheduled to square off tonight.

Drake And NBA Youngboy Have The Most Streams In The United States In 2022

Drake And NBA Youngboy Have The Most Streams In The United States In 2022

Drake is virtually impossible to outnumber in a numbers game. The Canadian rapper won the title of Billboard’s Artist Of The Decade as a result of his career-long record-setting and breaking performances on the charts. It should therefore come as no surprise that the rapper from “Knife Talk” is the most streamed musician of the year.

According to Chartdata Drake became the most streamed artist in the country this year with 4.16 billion on-demand streaming in the US. It’s a significant accomplishment that doesn’t seem all that shocking now that he has released his most recent album, Honestly, Nevermind.

Drake climbed to new heights on the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 after the release of Honestly, Nevermind. Drake became the first rapper to simultaneously debut on both charts on two different occasions thanks to the album’s and “Jimmy Cooks” ft. 21 Savage’s chart-topping success. Additionally, he continued to hold the record for the most Hot 100 top 10 hits by an artist.

NBA Youngboy is the artist with the second-most on-demand U.S. streams, just behind Drake. The Louisiana rapper has already amassed 3.37 billion on-demand streams in the United States, but when he releases his next studio album, that number will undoubtedly rise. The 30-song tracklist for The Last Slimeto is set for release in August. Although it’s unclear, it’s extremely likely that he might overtake Drake in on-demand streams in the US.

Drake “Honestly, Nevermind” Debuts At No. 1 After Selling 210K Copies In It’s First Week Of Release

Drake’s albums have always debuted at number one, and his most recent release, Honestly, Nevermind, is no exception. Champagne Papi was predicted to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart last weekend, and this past weekend, it actually did.

Despite the criticism and outrage the father of one had upon the publication of his work, a tweet from @chartdata indicated that during its first week out, the nearly featureless record sold 210K equivalent album copies (it was initially predicted to move anywhere from that to 230K).

Other notable performances included those by Harry Styles with his new Harry’s House project (78K), San Benito (121K), and BTS on their final joint album before going on sabbatical to concentrate on solo projects (77K).

Additionally, Future (50K), Post Malone (44K), Kevin Gates‘ Khaza (38K), Kendrick Lamar (35K), and finally Logic (29K) all had strong earnings reports.

HipHopDX points out that even though the Canadian won again, his sales of Honestly, Nevermind were far lower than those of 2021’s Certified Lover Boy, which brought in a respectable 613K.

The same was true of Chris Brown; however, Breezy’s first week sales forecasts are far lower than what he made when releasing Indigo years ago, and it has been highlighted that he isn’t likely to launch at number one this time around.

Chris Brown Claims He’d Be Willing To Engage In A Verzuz Battle With Usher And Talks About Challenging Drake

Verzuz TV is a platform that lets musicians compete against their most well-known records of all time. It was developed at the height of the coronavirus pandemic. The show has swiftly become as one of the most popular and talked-about forms of entertainment on the internet, consistently averaging one million viewers during each battle.

Mario and Omarion, two of R&B’s hottest performers, recently competed against one another. Due to all the shenanigans performed during the concert, people are still talking about the event and it is starting some new conversations.

Chris Brown was a guest on the most recent edition of Drink Champs, and the host asked him how he’d feel about competing in the Verzuz ring. “They want me to do it with Usher,” the native Virginian explained to the hosts, “It only makes sense, but it’s got to make more sense.” The musician continued by saying that, in the event of a fight, he and Usher should both receive equal praise.

“I can’t act like he ain’t a pioneer as well– that’s Usher,” he said. He added that there are too many songs to select from, but it would be something the audience would appreciate.

Along with competing against the “Nice & Slow” artist, a one-on-one matchup with Canadian rapper Drake was also discussed. “That would be a formidable champ,” Breezy said, “but you gotta think, when we go back to genres, you know what the consensus was? ’Nah, they don’t do the same music.”
