Drake Says He’s Considering Retiring from Rap

Drake says he’s considering a new concept in his mind and thinking of a graceful exit from the rap industry during an interview.

Don’t forget that the Kodak Black recently commented on not being interested in doing a collab with the rapper.

Kodak Black said he’s not ready to do any project with Drake because he had a collab album with 21 Savage.

During an interview, the host informed Kodak that his fans are expecting a collab with Drake from him and the Florida rapper didn’t hesitate to say what he had in mind.

Kodak replied: “I had told Drake I don’t wanna do no collab. No songs or no album. ‘Cause we supposed to done did a whole album before him a lil’ buddy.”

He continued, “Before him and lil’ buddy did that sh*t. I had told him I wanted to wait [until] like, 2023. Like, after February.”

Kodak last summer recently spoke about collab with Drake. He said: “Me and Drake, we got some more music. It’s really on like whenever bruh might feel like he ready and stuff. They be like, ‘Is we gon’ drop the album? We gon’ do this?’ It’s really on him. We got a lot of songs, though.”

Commenting on one of his posts on social media, Kodak wrote: “I Am Your Biggest Fan Sir. … If We Can’t Do A Whole Album Together, I Never Want To Do A Song With You Sir.”

DJ Envy Says He Desires Drake to Drop One Album before He Retires

DJ Envy Says He Desires Drake to Drop One Album before He Retires

DJ Envy during the breakfast show said he wants Drake to drop one hip-hop rap album before he retires. This is coming after Drake announced he’s considering a graceful exit from the rap industry.

Recently, DJ Envy revealed that Irv Gotti failed to pay him $10,000 for the record he produced for him about a year ago.

DJ Envy said: “I produced a record … [Gotti] definitely owe me $10,000. Me and [DJ] Mono produced a record for Murder Inc. back in the day and I got my front end and I never got the back end and they was just like ‘keep it moving.’ So I kept it moving.”

Envy made the revelation when the guest host, Jess Hilarious, discuss about her money dispute with Master P. Jess said Master P owes her a whopping $15,000 for her appearance in I Got Hook-Up movie.

Master P never stop saying that Jess Hilarious is making a fake news by saying he owes her $15K.

He posted on IG, “For the cowards hiding behind their computers enforcing fake news, I do have @jesshilarious_official contract from 5 years ago for I Got The Hook Up 2 and the copy of the check that was cashed and paid. She was joking about a second check that was never in her contract. That’s the narrative they ran with for clickbait and fake headlines. Thank God for receipts!”

Drake showed off his latest hair design where he had an Owl design braided in his hair.

Don’t forget that defense attorney of the men accused of robbing and killing XXXTentacion kept mentioning Drake’s name.

While Foster was standing, Mauricio Padilla, defense attorney, asked him a few questions. He asked: “Did you have the opportunity in your investigation to speak to Cleopatra Bernard, the decedent’s mom?

Foster replied, Yes.

Padilla asked again: “In communicating with her, did you ever determine the reason she wanted additional security with her son on that day was because of the issues her son was having with Drake and Migos.”

Foster objected and the judge asked Padilla to rephrase his question.

Then he asked whether Foster has any idea of the beef between XXXTentacion and Drake to which Foster answered, “I didn’t have any knowledge of any issues that were ongoing.”

“In your communication with Cleopatra Bernard, or anybody, did it come to your knowledge in this investigation that [XXXTentacion] said prior to his death that ‘If anybody kills him, that it was Drake?'”

Foster objected the question wasn’t relevant and outside the scope of questioning.

Footage of XXXTentacion Cashing Out $50K from the Bank Before His Murder Is Going Viral

Footage of XXXTentacion Cashing Out $50K from the Bank Before His Murder Is Going Viral

Footage of XXXTentacion withdrawing $50K from the bank moments before he was murdered has been released following the commencement of his murder trial.

The rapper was murdered the same day, robbed of the $50,000 he withdrew and his Louis Vuitton handbag. The court began the trial of the three men accused of killing XXXTentacion today.

According to prosecutor Pascale Achille, three men whose names are Michael Boatwright, Trayvon Newsome and Dedrick Williams and Robert Allen, who has pleaded guilty, set out to rob on June 18, 2018 and went to buy masks.

Achilles said that after they robbed and killed XXXTentacion, “They go on social media and start bragging that they have this influx of cash.”

However, the men’s defendants claimed that XXXTentacion’s death is due to the lies Robert Allen told and uninvestigated feud the rapper had with Drake before his murder. XXXTentacion had said if he dies, Drake would be the cause. Not only that, another rapper also made threats against XXXTentacion.

Dendrick Williams’s attorney, Mauricio Padilla said, “For Broward County, for everyone involved, this was a nightmare.”

This is an interesting case. What do you think about it? Please, feel free to let us know in the comments section.

Drake wasn’t physically present at the event. However, he did a short video to express his support and love for Wayne. Drake said, “Good evening, Grammys. Well, I haven’t gotten to say that since 2016.”

He continued, Lil Wayne…I love you so much. I know I probably get annoying with saying how much you mean to me and my family, but I think I speak on behalf of everybody when I say that our careers, our cadences, our melodies, maybe our face tats or our outfits or our decisions in general would not have been the same without your natural gift to just be yourself.”

Lil Wayne in his speech recalled how he started out in his career to become a global and sort after rapper. He said, “I want you all to know that I don’t get honored. Where I’m from, New Orleans, you’re not supposed to do this.”

The rapper dedicated his speech to his mum, children, and mothers of his children. Wayne said, “And her son had just blown up and went on his first tour. When I came home she said, ‘Son, I can’t live in this house by myself. We’re going to have to figure something out.’

He added, “I’d like to thank Antonia Johnson [Reginae Carter’s mother] for reasoning with me and my mom, and my life. I’d like to thank every single one of my kids and every single one of their mothers.”

One of Symba's Favorite Freestyles is Drakes's "Fire in the Booth"

One of Symba’s Favorite Freestyles is Drakes’s “Fire in the Booth”

One of Symba’s Favorite Freestyles is Drakes’s “Fire in the Booth”

Symba, who put up a strong freestyle performance in 2022, has now

praised Drake for the masterful performance he gave on Charlie Sloth’s “Fire in the Booth series.”

The Oakland native praised Drizzy’s raw freestyle in an interview with HipHopDX, noting that it was the first episode of Charlie Sloth’s acclaimed series he had ever seen.

“Yeah, I think that Drake freestyle was cold,” he said. “It’s definitely different but I think it was still raw and dope in a sense because that was the first time I heard of Fire in the Booth, when I seen Drake on there …

He added: “I just liked how Drake went up there and just got in his London bag. He just started poppin’ it.”

Royce Da 5’9′′, Freddie Gibbs, Black Though, and other artists received roses as Symba continued to list his other favorite freestyles.

Royce on Hot 97, Royce on L.A. Leakers, King Los’ L.A. Leakers, Freddie Gibbs’ L.A. Leakers, Benny The Butcher’s L.A. Leakers, Black Thought Hot 97 with Funk Flex, DaBaby’s L.A. Leakers was dope,” he listed. “When he left the bowling alley that night — that was fire … I just seen YG go up there, his was dope too. Meek Mill’s Hot 97, TSU Surf on Bars on I-95.”

Symba stated that he watches as many freestyles from his fellow rappers as he can to get ideas and expand his rap vocabulary.

“I watch everyone. That’s what makes mine stand out,” he admitted. “Because anytime I go up to a platform I watch every single one. I watch they demeanor, what they was talking about and I try to find something nobody ever said and hasn’t been done. I always try to find that angle of what’s not been said and then I go in there and say it.”

In terms of his musical output, Symba released his Results Take Time album in September, hosted by DJ Drama. He performed his freestyle skills on a number of shows, including Sway’s Universe, Funk Flex on Hot 97, and a few others to support the project.

Quentin Miller Said He Never Had a Positive Experience With Meek Mill

Quentin Miller Said He Never Had a Positive Experience With Meek Mill

Quentin Miller became a casualty of the MeeMeek Mill is Reproached For Recording a Music Video at the Ghanian Presidential Palace’s Mill and Drake dispute back in 2015, but it turns out that the songwriter had a bad relationship with Meek even earlier.

Miller talked about how it made him feel to witness everyone involved in the dispute, including DJ Drama, Rejoin and Act amicably while leaving him out of the picture, in an interview with VladTV that was published on Sunday (January 8).

He acknowledged that they had never had a good experience with Meek and that he didn’t have high expectations for him, but that Drama was a different matter.

“I mean yeah it just felt like it was all worthless, it was all pointless,” Miller said of seeing everyone squash the beef. “Honestly the Meek thing – I never had a good experience with Meek Mill. I remember one time Rick Ross had me and Mack, Wedding Crashers, had us pull up to The Promise Land… and Meek just so happened to be there and he was just mugging me the whole time.”

“I never got positive vibes from Meek,” he continued. “So, I don’t really expect nothing from Meek. But it’s really the Drama and Drake situation. Even Drama and Dr Julia Fox Says That Her Best Celebrity Date Was With Drakeake linking back up for the Jack Harlow video and everything. Shout out to Jack Harlow. I don’t got no issues with Jack Harlow.”

He added: “But it’s just like damn how do y’all do the reunited, we all good without QM? Like I’m literally at the center of the whole shit. Then he went on his interview with Rory and Mal and he was just talking about me in past tense like, ‘You know hey man, he was the only one,’ and, ‘Sorry it happened.’”

“But you’re one of the biggest entities in music. Drake is probably the biggest entity in music. Y’all have the power to fix that. Why are you acting like you don’t? And why are you talking about it this way? Unless that’s how you want it to be? And if that is how you want it to be, then why?”

He continued, stressing once more that Drama was his major target.

“So that was kind of lame to me. I felt more about it for Drama than I did for Meek,” Miller said. “I don’t expect nothing from Meek. I get the message from day one. You don’t fuck with me, you don’t care about about me. It is what it is. I don’t expect shit from that guy. But from Drama, that was strange. And I’m still cool with Cannon. It’s still love with Lake. They’ll check on me every now and then.

“But like don’t about it like oh it’s just nothing we can do. Yes it is! It’s definitely stuff y’all can do,” he concluded. “But you know, it is what it is. I don’t want you to fuck with me if you don’t really definitely stuff y’all can do,” he concluded. “But you know, it is what it is. I don’t want you to fuck with me if you don’t really fuck with me.

In prior part of his Vlad interview, Quentin Miller revealed he was never properly compensated for his work with Drake – due to a “horrible” publishing deal with Grammy-winning producer/songwriter Tricky Stewart.

“I never got a single publishing check off any songs,” Miller said. “I had to feed my family off getting paid under the table in that situation, because Tricky and them wouldn’t let me go. I didn’t get out that deal ’til 2019, 2020; I signed it in 2011. I had to let go of a lot of shit just to get out.”

Metro Boomin Shares OG Version of Drake and 21 Savage's 'Knife Talk'

Metro Boomin Shares OG Version of Drake and 21 Savage’s ‘Knife Talk’

Metro Boomin Shares OG Version of Drake and 21 Savage’s ‘Knife Talk’

The original version of the song “Knife Talk,” co-written by Metro Boomin and 21 Savage, that was later acquired by Drake has been made available.

On Tuesday, January 3, Young Metro shared a link to the original file on Twitter, which just includes the Project Pat sample and 21 Savage. The Blood Gang commander, who issues a string of growling threats and villainous boasts, delivers a lengthy second verse in the original version.

“You sneak dissin, you gon get some teeth missing, you weak bitches, we raw strip and kill snitches, your bitch digging, she is digging all this damn drip and I’m chef sinkin, I pink slip, the ink different,” he raps.

The manacing track, which was originally titled “Gang Shit,” was supposed to appear on Metro and 21’s 2020 collaborative album Savage Mode 11.

In September 2021, only two days before Certified Lover Boy’s arrival, Drake received “Gang crap” and used it to transform the Metro Boomin beat into what is now known as “Knife Talk,” as 21 Savage stated on DJ Akademiks‘ “Off the Record” podcast.

Still on the news  about Drake

Project pat’s feature came by way of vocal sample lifted from Juicy J’s 2017 track “Feed the Streets” featuring the Memphis rap pioneer as well as Asap Rocky.

“Knife Talk” would go on reach No.4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and helped power Certified Lover Boy to a record breaking debut on Spotify and Apple music.

With 613,000 album equivalent sales in its first week, the album also topped the Billboard 200.

Moreover, all 15 of the album’s tracks reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with two of them reaching the top 10. “Creeping,” featuring “The Weeknd (No. 5),” “The Future,” and “Chris Brown,” helped Superhero (Heroes and Villians on No.8).

While Drake was absent from Heroes and Villians, a leaked version of “Trance” with Travis Scott and the recently imprisoned Young Thug featured a verse from 6 God.
